If Cotto, Canelo and Lee would ask GGG to fight him, he'd fight them in the same week

First I want to give big props to GBP and Lemieux for taking the GGG fight.

Hater's gonna hate and hope GGG will lose.:-(

I am NO fan of catchweights AT ALL and I am pretty much convinced Andre can't make 164 comfortably but it's not a crazy request for GGG's camp to ask Ward's team to meet in the middle regarding weight, money and venue. That would mean the fight would take place 164, equal compensation and at a location not in Oakland or Europe (maybe NYC?). If they can't make that happen, these guys need to go their separate ways. No harm there at all. Andre is quite a bit bigger than Golovkin.

I favor Ward to beat GGG, even at 164, but for people to come out with this silly "impossible catchweight" cr ap is stupid.

He could fight them one after the other and knock all of them out by round 6

Based on his destruction of top ten middleweights, Lemieux, Quillin, Canelo, Lee and Saunders are next :deal

Stop acting like GGG is making him drop weight in 2 days. He could fight at 168 one time and would have a YEAR to drop down to 164. He could make it. Golovkin was willing to drop to 6 pounds in 2 months for the A SIDE Floyd. Ward should be willing to drop 4 pounds in A YEAR for the A SIDE GGG. :-(

And he should go down and focus fighting at 168 at least one more time if he wants GGG.

Just because someone is willing to drop weight, doesn't mean someone else can, or should be willing, to do the same. Golovkin may feel comfortable dropping 6 lbs, but Ward may not feel comfortable even dropping 3. They know their bodies better than we do.

What people don't understand is that Golovkin using a selective catchweight against Ward is a clear sign of avoiding risk. And that's fine, he doesn't HAVE TO fight Ward, but don't manipulate the fans.

    A/B side is irrelevant. It's all risk/reward.

Froch @ 168 is a risk worth the reward.

Ward @ 168 is a risk NOT worth the reward, so to lessen the risk (the reward will remain the same) request a lower catchweight.

It has nothing to do with:

Golovkin wanting to unify his division: had that been the case, he would've never entertained 168.

    or

Golovkin not being able to make 168 or being a small middleweight: had that been the case, he would've never entertained 168.
