Okay, junior MW, or super welterweight if you want.

It is so hard doing it on Iphoner while at work.

But regardless what weight, both crapped at 154 and suffered terrible losses at 147. Basically, they are on the same boah. Both could make the fight from 147 to 154 - all they have to agree is on what weight.

This fights makes sense more than Martinez vs. Dzin, who never fought past 154.

no, it's like saying if Margarito had smashed Pac at 150, he'd likely do the same to him at 140 if he could get down there and would be a major player there too.

Fact is 2 of the top 3 jr middles were KO'd by Margo, as was Martinez who was the best at 154 before he moved up.

He also had a very close fight with Paul Williams, who was also one of the best at 154, and would probably give him hell again too.

If these guys can compete at 154, why can't he? (Santos fight was ages ago, he's improved, has a lot more experience)
He'd definately be favorite to beat Cotto and Cintron again, so saying Margo can't beat any of the top guys at 154 or be competitive there is wrong.

Using the Pac fight as proof he's no good at 154 is ridiculous. Sure he lost every round (to perhaps the greatest fighter since Ali), so did Cotto and Clottey. He still landed 229 punches (57 and 71 more than what Marquez was able to land in his two fights with Pac).

How many of the mortal 154 lbers would be able to take that punishment? Cotto and Cintron definately couldn't.

Besides Santos who was how long ago? What has Margarito done to prove himself?

Nothing, besides moving back down, only to go back up and look like **** twice.

Margarito deserves nothing, he's cheater. Simple as that. He's already been proved to have cheated. Do you want to go there?

On top of that, he's proven that he is not an even "average" 154lber. His best win is Robert Garcia, and the only reason you even remotely know that name is because his trainer is the same name. The fighter he beat is worthless as a FIGHTER. He's proven nothing and done nothing.

Margartio cannot be considered a player at 154 at all. I dont care if he beat Cintron 100 times at 147. 8lbs makes a huge difference in boxing.

you'll probably never rate him, fair enough, your opinion and you can hate him for what he did. After he beats Cotto (Ring #3) though he will be right up there in the mix

No, Cotto has a score to settle. And Margo something to prove. I would certainly buy that fight.

What has he done at 154 to earn the shot at Cotto?

Nothing. You know it, I know it, the world knows it.

If he beats him, doesn't that legitimize his shot? Like I've said he's KO'd two of the Ring top 3 154 lbers and has been one of the best welters in recent times. It's not like he's Matt Hatton calibre.

It's not like this is anyting new. Mosley lost twice to Forrest and immediately got a shot at Oscar's 154 title because of their great fight at welter

You can't criticize Cotto for taking a fight against Margo - particularly because it's a fight he can't win!

Cotto didn't have the power to hurt Margo at 147 and he hasn't improved his power as he moved up in weight. High output fighters like Margo will always trouble Cotto because he fights at such a slow and steady pace.

Same Cotto, same Margo, same result.

I personally would luv to c the rematch cos Cotto deserves it! Margo would use it as a way to show he didn't cheat 1st tym out (I believe he did!) And Cotto would use it to probably exorcise the demons from their 1st fyt....

This rematch has PPV all over it and it will sell like butter!!!!

So if loses what then? That proves the point of the world?

And Mosley got a fight simply on name, it still does not make it right.

You are seriously saying, because IF Margarito might win it proves his shot. You know how ****ing stupid you sound by saying that?
