Criticized for what? Trying to avenge a savage beatdown? Cotto has got guts if he gets back into the ring with Margo.

Margarito will be the favorite, and he will probably win. Fans are calling for this fight. His shot is justified.

Doesn't make it right but it happens all the time, name fighters skipping divisions after a loss or series of losses, getting title shots after a couple fights or straight up.

Paul Williams did it. Cotto did it. Cintron did it. Judah, Spinks, Taylor, Hopkins, Mosley, De La Hoya, Quartey, Mayorga, ****ing heaps of them, even Baldobum got an immediate title shot after Mayweather.

You're just bent out of shape about Margarito doing it because you dislike him. Fight will happen, and not too many are going to complain about it

    Semantics, semantics.

    Is that all you have?

What does the weight division have to do with this fight? They could both fight from 147 to 154 or even 160 if they like, it is immaterial.

People will still watch it except you who only subscribe to Gayweather fights.

I dont think he deserves criticism.I respect the fact that he would like to get the thorn out of his side like he said.

But Cotto did say he would never give him another payday, and that Margs doesnt deserve it.Now he did a 360 degree turn out of no where.I cant call that but what ever.

Big Bob talked him into it $$$ i guess.

Cant say im not curious about the rematch.I am.

I am proving a point, Margarito in no way is deserving of another PPV payday.

I am still for Cotto getting his revenge but it's not a PPV worthy fight let alone a fight that Margarito should get.

    I'll still watch. You dumbass.

You aren't proving anything Eze. Win/loss has NOTHING to do with a PPV payday if you can attract a good crowd.

Today's boxing is all about what you can sell, and they can sell this.

Are you objecting to this fight because you are :

    1. moral authority - Margarito does not deserve this fight because he loaded his gloves, and other meaningless stuff?

    2. Margarito did not do a thing in the 154 division -

    3. Margarito does not deserve a payday and should fight for peanuts.

If this fight is not a PPV material, then it would end up that Cotto won't be paid well either because PPV makes it both very lucrative to both of them.

Unfortunately, this fight has more PPV credibility than most fights recently.

Sadly thats the truth. But for us die hard fans we know whats up. And Margarito isn't deserving of this.

I just dont see the joy of giving a cheater a multi million dollar payday. Again.

No because they have unfinished business. Many people think margarito was loaded vs cotto so a rematch would be good to see if he was loaded or not.

Well, get over it or stop watching boxing. :D I've had a major change of thought regarding boxing and how it's turned to business first over sport. Things aren't like how they were even ten years ago.

You obviously don't mind a PROVEN women beater making bank though... :yep

Same woman who lied about it before. Thats my only struggle.

But if he did beat her, he deserves jail time.

How exactly do you know she lied? You seem to act as if it's out of the realm of the possibility that she recanted her story to SAVE FLOYD? Has that occurred to you, or do you just dismiss that as too outrageous? :D

And I take it she made her kids lie the swcond time? Pretended Floyd stole her phone and would not let her leave? And they filed how many felony counts, 8, based on a lie?

And you are well aware there were two others Floyd pleaded no contest too.

If you really are trying to say that he deserves absolutely no criticism but rather credit, then I agree with you.
