Surprised. Not shocked though. Cotto hits harder than anyone else Pac has fought except DLH, but DLH couldn't touch him.

You'll find out after 2 rounds if Pac can get Cotto's respect but i would'nt be at all suprised 2 see Cotto slowly march down Pacman & get the TKO, love both these guys but me heart sez Manny but me $$$$ say COTTO:smoke

Wont be surprised, either Pac outboxes cotto enroute to tko, or KO him early ala Hatton, or Cotto's size proves too much and KO's Pac, early.

Would not be too shocked, reasoning suggests that sooner or later one of these naturally bigger guys will walk through him and KO him.

But then thats what people were saying about the De La Hoya and Hatton fights, so by that logic of course Pacquiao will inevitably win by KO/TKO:lol:

    I'd be stunned

Not seen Manny even close to being stopped for years, and his speed is going to be a nightmare for Cotto

If Cotto does win it will be before round 6! That's he's best chance. Win by KO and win early. The longer the fight goes the mor it favors Manny. Cotto has a legit shot b/c he is the bigger, stronger guy but he'll have many obstacles to hurddle in what Manny brigs to the ring. The Speed, explosiveness, reflexes, talent and akward style will be all Cotto can handle. I think the first 3 or 4 rounds are competitive but clear that Manny's speed and movemnt keeps things under control...by the mid rounds we'll see PAC pull away and begin to dominate.

I would be suprised, only because I cannot picture anyone knocking out Pacman right now. If you flip the question in reverse.... I would still be suprised because watching a natural lightweight knockout a natural welterweight is something in itself.:rasta

Round 4 KO, i'll be surprised. But if Cotto won this fight, I wouldn't be surprised. I think Welterweight division, especially Cotto's calibre is too much for Pacquiao. Pac is on a hot streak for his boxing god given natural gifts, but going beyond 140 with his small frame is pushing his luck too much.

Agree he can stop Pac on one flush power punch especially to the body. But can Cotto land that shot on a fast moving target like Pac? If Pac fights toe to toe in the early rounds, it might happen. But we all know Pac and Roach ain't stupid. Pac will move in and out for the first half of the fight. When they see the effects of Pac's accumulated punches and Cotto starts gassing,, Pac will go for the kill. I'd like to see a repeat of when Pac let De La Hoya punch him in his side and Pac just tapped his gloves in the air applausing in the last round.

With cotto's real welter power it would not be surprising.
