Does it do anything to negate all the positive publicity of Dr. Pedro Diaz? I actually think it'll be a competitive fight. There's been so much good press about the Doctor, I'm wondering if he'll be written off by the mainstream...not the diehards, but definitely the mainstream.
seems like a decent trainer...i just don't like hearing things like "my trainer came up with the game plan to beat floyd" and about how cotto will use his size and strength to win it sounds like he has one idea of what he wants to try, but no plan b...while he will need b and c and d
It's up to the fighter to make things work for himself. The trainer's job is to prepare the fighter physically and mentally.
Don't matter who the trainer is.. Miguel lacks the tools to compete with Mayweather. It'll be interesting for the first 4 or 5 rounds, but all Money after that.
Depends on the outcome...If Cotto does ok with the jab and abandons it in the latter rounds because he gasses its all on Cotto, but if he goes in there looking like a fish out of water like in the Pacquiao fight then its all on the trainer for not coming up with plan B
Pedro has already solidified himself and while his tactics seem self explanatory his ability to aide cotto with executing a game plan looks to be quite successful.
Pedro is already an accomplished trainer. I suppose it might negate the mighty opinions of the eastside general though
