Simple question. Usually fails when he gets tested but if he managed to pull this off... Well....

It doesn't get him ranked above either one of them. Both would still own decisive victories over him and both would still have better résumés.

If that happened I'd not bother about boxing rankings I'd just prepare for the armageddon. It'd be a clear sign.

I'd rank him above Pac if he KO'd Canelo then GGG in the fight right after.

Cotto is one of my favorites, but no way. He's got depth on his resume, but not as deep as either of those guys. Add in the h2h losses and the answer becomes even more obvious. Besides, who have Canelo and Golovkin beaten to elevate him to such heights? It would be a nice way to cap off an already HOF career but its simply not enough.

Cotto has more chance of becoming a prima ballerina than he has of beating Canelo & GGG

That's a tough one. Yeah, I think you have to. If you combine it with what he's already done: Martinez, Mosley, Margarito, Judah, Clottey, Geale, Malignaggi.

I mean, regardless of how he got it, the Martinez win stands equal to Pac and May's De La Hoya. They've all got Mosley. Margarito might even be worth as much as Canelo, at least in his prime. And a Golovkin victory would be better than anything either May or Pac has ever done. That would definitely be up there with the Barrera/Morales wins and way way better than the Castillo/Corrales wins.

I cant see how a Golovkin win ranks higher than Corrales, Hatton, Pac, Cotto himself, Barerra, Morales, Marquez etc. All were more proven with p4p ratings nearly as high or higher than GGG.

Not that I think he beats GGG, but that isnt the question posed, is it?

So let's see. Floyd schooled Cotto and Canelo, so Cotto is greater than Floyd by beating Cinnabum?:lol::lol: :patsch
