Nope, let's be honest GGG and Canelo don't have better resumes than the best 2 names on floyd or pac's resume. If people would man up and fight GGG, he acquires some great record, and Cotto beats him them I might be able to rank him above Pac, but not Floyd. Also even if Cotto kos canelo and it's a competitive fight I won't rate it above Floyd who dismantled Canelo for 12 rounds, easy as hell.

I might be tempted since Pac and Floyd both fought like b-itches in their last fight.

It's not going to happen but if it does....... nope!

He was dominated and stopped by Pacquiao. Mayweather beat him by clear decision at 154. It's not like these guys got lucky or that Cotto just happened to have bad nights vs. these guys.

If he does pull off the seemingly impossible, his place in history will look much different than expected. People will say he peaked late in his career and Freddie Roach will get a lot of the credit. People will say his best weight was MW, even though their have been catch-weights involved.

If Cotto does this... in H2H "mythical match-ups" people may actually put him ahead of Mayweather in a MW fight... they fought at JMW/154 and Mayweather has never fought at MW. They may put him ahead of Pacquiao at JMW and maybe even WW/147 because when they fought it was at a catch-weight of 145 Lbs.

    Who knows?

I really doubt he we beats Alvarez or GGG though. I am very excited about the Cotto vs. Alvarez fight though, should be excellent.

How did Floyd fight liek a b(itch? He held way less, and walked Pac down way more than he usually does. Did you expect him to slug it out?

Why not Mayweather. A KO win over a prime GGG would certainly be comparable to Floyd's win over Corrales.

I doubt that he will beat Canelo and there's no way in hell that he beats Golovkin.

How can you KO someone when you never have guts to step into the ring with him?

Youre probably right... but a Ggg win wouldnt be enough to put him over floyd....probably not even pacquaio if i really think about it..:think

Here's the paradox though. How could you say beating Golovkin is better than anything May or Pac has done? If Cotto beats Golovkin, than Cotto is better than Golvkin. So than how could a win over Golovkin be better than May and Pac's win over Cotto when Cotto is better than Golovkin?

That'd be about equal on individual wins, not as a whole though, it's a conundrum... he didn't beat a very good Martinez and lost to Floyd and Manny, Margarito's eye was ****ed thanks to Pacquiao too.

I guess it would depend on how it came. If it was a close fight and then kod them is one thing, but if its a complete schooling, its another.

Because May is far ahead of Cotto and a significant margin ahead of Pac.

    NOT CLOSE.

Probability of that happening is about the same as Cotto KO'ing both Klitchko brothers.

GGG and Corrales are a similar caliber fighter. GGG might even be a significantly better fighter. We just have to wait and see what he looks like against better competition.

If Cotto knocked out GGG it would be a better win than anything on Floyd's resume quite possibly.

It would be a very big win.

But this is really a lot about nothing though.

Cotto would not knock out GGG. If he did we would all be stunned.
