If Cotto KO's Margo... Would you put him on top of PBF at WW?

The linear championship means little is you don't fight the best. for example; Floyd Patterson was the lineal champ from 1956 till 1962. But from 1958 until they actually fought, everybody knew Sonny Liston was the best heavyweight in the world.

 

Mayweather is the champ ever since he beat baldo....simple as.

mayweather is fighting no one at welter this year.. c'mon ODLH for this year. Even if he wins(as he definitely will) i would not rank him on top. Winner of cotto-margo would be the top dog at WW. Since when did floyd fought a fighter rank at 147? 2006. Last year he fought a light middle and a light welter. Lets not forget we're talking about 147 here

if cotto beats margarito, he will have defeated the #2,3,5,and 6 rated fighters in the division. how many of the top ten has mayweather beaten. we see clearly who is acting like a champion should, and going about his business of cleaning out the division. when the so called champion has said that he has no intentions of calling out any welter weights.

If he KO's Margo....there is no denying that boy is the truth. But I highly doubt he will.

And thats why I have him ranked as the #1 WW as well, but my list isn't official.. So if Cotto was to KO Margo, or win convincingly even, then I think he should be ranked over Floyd as someone has already pointed out, when was the last time he fought someone at 147?
