If Cotto loses to Gomez by some miracle would it destroy a potential bout with PBF?

then floyd would fight and beat gomez to easily capture another belt. then afterwards, he would ridicule cotto for being overated and a bum.

I think Cotto would be disowned by all PR's if he lost. They would say 'Cotto who? The only PR boxer I know is Tito':yep

option 1- cotto gets beat by gomez, mayweather then states ' i aint fighting no bum that gets beaten by contender contestants'

option 2- cotto smashes gomez, mayweather then states "he aint fought nobody look at his last 2 fights, a contender contestant and a old sugar shane he brings nothing to the table for me'

just a guess the fight wont happen either way

    Yes

It would not only destroy a potential bout with Mayweather, but destroy his reputation.

Void has made it clear he wants no part of Cotto. I think Cotto would beat Void even more that Oscar did, but he would have to knock Void out to get a split decision. Yes, the cards are always stacked in Void's favor. Castillo beat Void convincingly in their first fight, but the judges.........

He had no other choice with Zab. If Cotto were to lose to Gomez, I doubt a Floyd/Cotto fight would ever happen.

Alfonso isnt a bum so I dont think it destroys Cottos reputation. Floyd might actually fight Cotto after this because thats how he is or hed just fight Gomez for a belt and call himself the undisputed king and blah blah.
