If Cotto 'quit' v Margo, why did Hatton not quit v PBF??

I guess whay annoys me is that after the fight I said that he had quit and that there was no shame in that as he thought about is health and I got ripped to shreds for even considering Cotto could have done a "No mas".

Then fighters like Chavez (past prime), Leija (past prime), Cintron, Freitas (Past prime) and many others who also quit got insulted only to have a prime P4P fighter in Cotto bow down and kneel unto Margarito and most of the people praise him for that, only because they were SO wrong on who and how the fight was going to end up.

 

Quit is such an harsh word to use. I would say he submitted. If u notice after the second knock down while on one knee, he looked to his corner and shook his head. Like saying no more. Cotto is smart, he didn't want to take anymore beating.

 

You gotta be kidding me. First, you start whining and crying about how Cotto didn't quit. Then, you start insulting people that say he did quit. Next, you create this ill advised thread which only served to make you look like a fool. After being completely owned, you decide to follow me around in other threads and hurl unprovoked insults my way. How am I supposed to end the thread amicably when you're taking shots at me? When I posted the Cotto convo, I said nothing bad about you. However, you responded with negativity towards me.

Cotto quit on his own will. He even admitted it on his interview. Get over it.

 

Cotto got beat into submission he didnt just say I can still fight but I dont want to.
He looked like he was beaten very badly but still had enough of his faculties to realize he dont need more punishment

 

You just said the same thing here mentioning Clottey and Margo and agreeing with Hatton, just like Clottey, Cotto tried to survive ,he had lots of rounds in the bank and was just trying to hold on and maby land smth that could win him a round, hell he had a chance to quit after round 10.... think again and tell me its not so called "heart". Charlie Z is no amateur hes a pro and look at the size of that heart.
