dude, your comparison sucks. I don't even know what you're basing your argument on. the proof you presented, a video, speaks against whatever you say.

You're the only one who sees what your are saying. Everyone else is rolling their eyes. I think you should be left alone in this topic. To preach. Alone. And describe what is happening in that video to yourself. Apparently, we're the "******" majority, unable to comprehend what is transpiring before us.

So good job man, keep on fighting the good fight.

Ha ha, I will do so! No-one ever agrees with me anyway, I'll never give up the fight! Or I might just quit, like Cotto did eh?

    You mean Joe Cortez.

And Hatton was knocked out by the ring post. Not a fair comparison.

    Cotto did quit...plain and simple.

    Yes he was beaten.

    Yes he was exhausted...

Yes the fight should have been stopped...

The reality is that he was on his feet and he no longer wanted to fight...He did not feel the fight should go on any longer and he didnt want to even try to hit Marg anymore...he decide to back pedal until he was back into a corner and he got on his knees and turned his head away from Marg(as if to say please don't hit me again). That's quitting...

No. Hatton went down, the second time, from a left hook behind the ear. He didn't take a knee. He was out on his feet.

Cotto, on the other hand, curled up in a damn near fetal position when it looked like Margarito was going to hit him again. He looked like a ***** running from her abusive pimp.

hatton was still hurt after the first intial knockdown anyways the natural human reaction would to try and get away and hatton was trying to survive, this is the exact same with cotto after the first knockdown he was still feeling the effects of it plus all the punishment he had recieved, if any of us were in there exact same situation all of us would do the same, fuk all the haters that come out with the same bull**** 'COTTO QUIT, HES A COWARD'

I'm fairly sure Ricky was Ko'd properly. You could see it in his eyes when Floyd went to talk to him after.

cotto had taken all the punishment he could handle,,he best, knew that,,so he basically said , ive had enough you win,,,as a fighter you can chose to go down fighting or just throw in the towel,,,,reminds me of the night light hitting lou bizarro ran from roberto duran for 13 rounds,,and i mean ran,,ive never seen a fighter run as fast backwards and sustain that for 13 rounds,,finally roberto knocks him down viciously twice in the 14th round,,almost decapitates him,,,but bizarro gets up dazed, beaten and hurt,,but he wasnt quitting,,the referee wipes off his gloves,,,one more duran right left him unconcious on the canvas,,,,,was it heart, bravery or studipity,,,hard to say,,,,but cotto wanted no part of one last right hand,,so he quit,,,

Thank Christ. I never ever want to converse with someone with such a ****ed up view of the world that he calls Gerald McClennan a quitter for the way his fight with Nigel Benn ended.

    Scum.

Sometimes you have to accept reality...once you do that you will be good.

Hatton did fall as a direct result of a punch...he was on shaky legs from the first kd then he got hit again which made his legs completely unstable. Thats called a knockout, once you no longer have the ability stand up. Cotto quit...he had the ability to stand up, he had the ability to walk backwards. He also felt he didn't have the ability to take another punch without getting knocked out so rather than be knocked unconscious he quit. That is rational...

In other words...Cotto clearly wanted "No Mas"...You could detect that a few rounds earlier...
