    Hatton was clearly an overachievier, sure he was quite the rocket but his lack of fundamental skills, patience and versitility directly effected his longevity as a championship caliber fighter. If he couldnt maul you he was not going to outbox you. I remember the Collazo fight like it was yesterday and I remember thinking Hatton showed an incredible amount of heart, resiliency and determination in the face of true adversity. From the second round on you could see Luis was running the show utilizing his savvy ring knowledge and durability break Ricky down in every way. At the end of the fight I though to myself Ricky is going to make some adjustments and this was a great lesson in American/Brooklyn savvy that would only increase Ricky's knowledge of the sweet science and then bam! Luis gets shafted :-( it was the worst thing you could do to a somewhat one dimensional fighter...they beleive in their own hype and fall further downhill because of it.
