Im saying i Cotto gets teh W, whether its by TKO, KO or decision, what will you think of him? I have noticed, from cmoing to this boards for years, that Cotto has been disrespected after every single fight. Im sure if he beats Margarito he STILL will not have everyones respect because all the sudden Margarito will be labeled OVERRATED, TOO BIG FOR THE WEIGHT CLASS, etc... etc. To me, if he beats Margarito, he is top 3 p4p. He is clearing out the division like he said he would when he was first coming up. Margarito was the most feared fighter and now Cotto is going up against him. Not only that but Cotto fights like 10000 times a year which i why I think people love him so much. Has Cotto ever called anyone out? Has he ever argued money with anyone? No. He fights whoever is put in front of him. He has destroyed 2 guys that i can think of right now (malignaggi, quintana) who have went ont o be come world champions. He destroyed Zab Judah maybe even more brutally than KOstya Tzuyu and out boxed the great Shane Mosley. He has beated about 7 or 8 undefeated fighters on his rise to the top. Beat Carlos Maussas ass in only his 17th pro fight, Maussa also went on to be champion, however fluky it was hehe. Cotto deserves everyones respect whether or not he wins this fight. I have always said, and I will continue to say...for you boxing "purists" he should be your fighter. Him and Manny Pacquiao. Cotto is as old school as it gets in this era, fighting only the best (with the exception of Gomez) and continuing to win in impressive fashion.

Word... It took Cotto 11 rounds of a beatdown to finally take Zab outta there. Kostya Tszyu dusted him with a single right hand in only the 2nd round.

ok because a single right hand after 6 minutes of fighting is more brutal then taking multiple right hands left hooks, jabs and body punches over the course of 11 ronuds. that makes sense.

Ive always respected Cotto even though hes fighting Margo and I still hold respect for the guy if he looses. The thing is this is a Mex V Rico rivalry and just like in prison you gotta stick with your own race. I hope the best for the guy and its boxers like him who make this sport look good Im sorry I cant say the same for other fighters who I dont want to mention. So I deffinitely consider Cotto above PAC P4P #1 for his impressive resume and the way he took out his opponents with hardly any controversy imo I just think some fights were close thats all.

i think zabs beat down from cotto was just a tad bit more brutal than his beat down from kostya. logic only proves me correct.

    The Cotto stoppage was lame.

The chicken dance on the other hand was legendary. :yep
