If he beat Canelo I think you'd have to say that he does Even you put ability at the top of your list so you understand the point I'm making
In what planet is Crawfords resume poor? Especially if he beat Canelo who has never lost or even come close to losing at 168
Of course he does Mike McCallum beat past it Welterweights at 154 and close fights with Toney He never demolished a Spence level fighter who was considered top 5 pound for pound (I know I know car crash bla blah blah blah blah. No one was saying that before the fight)
I think it's very similar as of now And Crawford has been a top P4P fighter for a decade now as well more or less
It's very rare for a fighter to beat an all time great in their prime Even Ali only has 1 and that is vs George Foreman and Foreman being considered an ATG is largely because of 1 win over Frazier which was his only win vs an all time great in their prime
He comfortably beat Griffin in the rematch before stopping him. Benavidez won about 4 rounds in there if you're willing to count punches landed and Madrimov made him look ordinary. Regardless the gulf in resume will be impossible to surpasses. He can literally put Canelo to sleep in the first round and Roy still ranks higher due to wins over Toney, Hopkins, Ruiz, Woods, Gonzalez, Hill, Mccallum etc.
No it isn't similar that's your theory which is incorrect. Crawford has no wins against any fighter historically as good as Hopkins, Toney, or Hill not even close. RJJ's resume is considerably better than Crawford's resume by quite some distance.
Mayweather already beat Canelo 12-0 my guy incase you forgot so how would Crawford be above Mayweather for beating the same opponent whilst having a way worse resume overall lol how does that even make sense.
Well of course you wouldn't because what I'm saying is a fact and goes against your silly narrative you're trying to create about Crawford's resume which has already been disproven by me.
I love Crawford one of my favorites. And I think he could out point him. Not gonna get a KO and we know how Alvarez gets down with the judges ( Bivol, GGG ). I see no path to victory unfortunately. Ok maybe a suuuuper slim chance but he would need to put in a Bivol like performance and get a knockdown… and **** still isn’t a guarantee. I love boxing but judges have jaded me.
