I wouldn't be so confident Many boxing fans (myself included) didn't give Usyk a very good chance at beating Fury or Joshua I don't think that Opetia will do as well at heavyweight as Usyk because he's not as good defensively but Usyk and Holyfield have shown that great cruiserweights can become great heavyweights
Fair point, you are correct and I should have worded it differently. I do think Usyk has been giving up more size than Crawford though.
>Gamboa top 5 p4p If that’s true he’s gotta be the worst guy to ever enter a p4p list. Paper champ level fighter. Champion only at 126, never even won a title in the division Crawford beat him in
Canelo and Crawford are the most overrated fighters of our time by their respective clans. Canelo has avoided any risks for years, losing 12 rounds against Bivol, ducking many dangerous opponents and losing clearly yet receiving gifts from Suliman. Crawford fought the first guy his size and was clearly no p4p fighter, unless Madrimov is a P4P fighter? This is a money fight. The result is irrelevant in the context of boxing history.
Yes, it’s all subjective. But the point is: Other ATG’s have beaten fellow ATG’s. Who themselves have beaten other ATG’s. Therefore, they’re all proven at that level. Now Terence may have been able to have beaten Floyd, Leonard and Hearns etc. But as of yet, Terence hasn’t proven that he can beat guys of that calibre.
Yes, there’s no right answer. But again, a guy who has no wins over an ATG, or a deep resume, can’t even be in contention.
Yeah, but there are people who will never give him the credit, no matter what. Imagine the shock and saddness of these MF'ers if he stops Canelo
When has Mayweather beaten someone at Prime Crawfords caliber? Why isn't the same question asked back in reverse?
