You are correct. That was my fault. He won 2 world titles at featherweight and only the interim title at super feather before moving up and facing Crawford.

 

Wikipedia was edited years ago due to his performance enhancing situation. It was also edited on his wikipedia page as well. The official website used to have a way to be able to go back to see the rankings at that time. I don't see that option on the site anymore. Ironically, I still have the physically magazines from that year that still has the rankings printed.

He isn't even smaller than Canelo he just manages weight cutting better. He's also on some serious gear too.. he wouldn't even make my top 50. Almost every top fighter he has faced was past their sell by date.. & he's never been put at a significant size disadvantage either, he's just another Conte weight grifter.

Cut through the crap of most of his wins and there's not really a lot of substance there in actuality.. his career challenges & escapades are not even close to the level of a Charles, SRR, Pep, Walker or Duran..

They have it much easier now, the sport is far more diluted. More divisions, more belts, lower fight frequency, softer gloves, weigh ins the day before, steroids.
