If Crawford retired now would he be a hall of famer in your opinion?

Canelo is in for the most controversial decision wins in the history of the sport.

Was a protected champ. Arum wouldn’t let chicanito light him up. Strategically matched.
Crawford is pound for pound unified 2and 3x champ.

Well one BIG difference is that Crawford DID it and Broner DIDN'T. The idea that you want to compare someone who did something with someone who "could have" is laughable. Crawford did something that had not been done in 30 years. But hell someone "could have" they just didn't. If it was that easy everyone would do it.

Crawford is a good fighter. But, as of now: No ****ing way he deserves HOF. Quite frankly, he is yet to beat one true championship level fighter in their prime.

It proves that what he's done isn't actually that special and why you should look beyond the headline.

Man Becomes Millionaire Before 30 sounds much more impressive than 29 year old wins lotto.

Broner is a 3 weight world champ and I think he was good enough to have unified the division that Crawford did.

Can't lie threads like this reinforce my feelings about this current generation of boxers TC has won legit titles between 35-47 yet has one of the weakest resumes in the sport regardless of results a guy like AB has legit fought better comp than Crawford, the quality of fighters and also the level of comp these fighters are taking is an embarrassment right now. it's very few guys in the sport I feel like are truly going after the best fight's consistently. TC is like most fighters buying into they own hype beating up on nobodies. I feel like these new fighters would rather look like th best and have people call them the best without actually having to prove it.

No, his biggest win is a faded midget Gamboa who'd come up 2 weight divisions and dropped him on his ass.

Even if 140 was a weak division, unifying all 4 belts is an amazing accomplishment. And he dominated everyone at the weight.

Broner couldn't carry Crawford's spit bucket. If he could have done what Crawford has done, he would have done so. He lost or looked bad every time he stepped up.

Crawford has dominated almost everyone he's fought.

But the question is not how many belts but ONE BOXER holding ALL of the belts in a division. IF it was easy more boxers would hold all of the belts in the division more often. As for "names beaten" you can only beat those who get in the ring with you. Postol was a hot commodity until he fought Crawford and is fighting for a belt again. Yet Mikey Garcia never wanted to box Crawford in the 2+ years he was at 140. So how do you penalize Crawford for that? The truth is IF Mikey had a belt he would not have fought Spence either. I continue to ask the same question: IF Crawford is a product of a "weak resume" how come no one from PBC has come after his belt? Lots of talk about "unifying the Division" but not about how they will get Crawford's belt. Apparently the strategy is "let's hope he gets old and his skills erode because we can't beat him."

Then why don't more boxer do it? Should of, could of, and would of aside nobody else did it at 140 and Mikey Garcia was at 135 the entire time and apparently wanted none of it.

He deserves big props for unifying. That I won't deny. I'm not penalizing anyone for fights that didn't happen. I'm not talking about any of the 'he said...he ducked...' stuff that goes too far here. I'm talking strictly about his resume at face value, looking at who he's fought and beaten. That's it.
