If Crawford was a natural HW how would he do against guys like Wilder, AJ, and Fury?

Great question, I'm stumped, it's hurting my head a little bit thinking about it.

It is 7:50am on a Sunday and I was absolutely hammered last night but still..

Crawford wouldn't, he would find a heavyweight version of Horn someone who is not a fighter, just someone off the street who can't fight at all................

You actually saw that thread? It went down faster than fury on a pork pie. Oh well, it was a joke anyway. Can't compare it to the OP'S Thread here can you?

With way better stamina and way better chin and all around durability Meaning he'd be one that could use all hearns natural talent.

    Top ATG right there

So .. the quantifying and transfer of Bud's skills to some unknown heavy is, of course, difficult. Especially as boxing has been long devoid of much talent as the participation rates of apex level athletes is not even minimal but negligible. Compound that with the reality that certain populations just don't produce apex athletes (or haven't yet to be kinder) and so the existence is denied by your respondents like some kind of mythological unicorn sighting. The truth is like this. There could be large sized athletes with A-level coordination, agility, movement, etc. but there is little incentive for such young talent to pursue boxing. So what you get are populations of fighters with B-level athleticism, old fighters who hang on forever due to the lousy talent pool, out of shape buffalo and poorly conditioned heavy bags, and the occasional fair to decent fighter. Certainly at the lower weights there are not many sport or athletic options so boxing can continue to see the occasional gem like a Crawford. The appearance of a smooth, gifted, talent at heavyweight or cruiser will continue to be far and few between due to boxing's status in the culture (lack of opportunity and lack of popularity in terms of attracting young applicants) among other things.

Oh AchillesLSstand, or was it Brit-Silly nanny?

Boxing is truly a global sport now, not some domestic sport where certain nationalities punch each other in the face for 12 rounds.

Only a tiny fraction of the global population even consider sports as a career path. Imagine how many great talent we would have if people didnt choose to be a waitress at a Fridays or some Engineer at your local Bell Lab.

    Your statement makes NO sense.

Also heavyweights back in the day were practically Cruiserweights. You see today the cruiserweight division is packed with talent.
