If Danny Garcia had STAYED at 140, would he still be running it? (Fights vs Jose/Prograis/Taylor)

His 147 move has yielded poor results

    Losses to Keith & Porter

Only Ws against Paulie & Rios...

At 140 he was a BEAST & basically cleaned out the division. He was THE MAN their

    Dropping & beating up Lucaz

    Khan KO

BTW he would have KOd Postol

Hes gonna lose to Spence or Bud if that happens. Hes good enough to hang with any 147 but not to beat them

At 140 he had Elite Power, good chin, he was a good sized 140

He can probably make 140 still

Should have probably stayed their. Nothing wrong with dominating a division for years

    How do fights vs...

    Prograis
    Taylor
    Ramirez

    Go???

I doubt he can make the weight now, but I would favor 140 Danny over anyone in the division today. His win over Lucas cemented him as an ATG at the weight class IMO.

No Crawford would have popped his cherry long ago. Danny is little more than a stepping stone now. He'll keep the gates at 147 and occasionally fight 140 guys at 147 like Adrien Granados. Never forget Rod Salka for anyone wanting to defend Danny "B-Level" Garcia.

Taylor beats him, the other two go life and death, probably lose close.

I think Postol would beat Danny. Probably wide decision.

plenty of people thought he bear porter and he held his own despite losing clearly to Thurman

my problem with Garcia ar 147 is really his habit of yoyo'ing opponent levels...like he just barely lost to porter and rather than stir **** up and press a rematch he fights a guy like granados

he wouldn't have made it to taylor and prograis as Crawford would have beaten him

Not even if they would keep gifting him, because they wouldn't have robbed someone like Crawford.

Crawford was at 140 for over two years and NONE Of these guys nor Mikey Garcia wanted any part of him. Now one of those is going to "run" the division? Lot of talkers and not any takers

I don't really remember him running things when Maurcio Herrera was slapping him around the ring at the end of their fight. Or when he scrapped by Lamont Peterson.

Don't get me wrong, I respect the hell out of Garcia, and he put together an extremely respectable resume, but as others have said, Crawford would have dismembered him if Danny had stayed around long enough at 140.
