Call this a long shot but if Danny williams wins he's british title fight tonite and gets a title shot against sam peter as reported and wins that fight could there be a Vitali kliscthko rematch ? This would be a weird one as Vitali's last fight was defending against Williams and out of all the heavywieghts about danny would be the one he would have to fight to get the champoinship back. As i said just a long shot , seen as peters next fight is rumored to be vs Doctor ironfist.
William's problem is that he choose to fight up and coming contenders like Platov, Airich, and never beens like McDermott. In order to get a shot, today you just need a win against a big name, not a streak of victories against unheralded opponents. He could KO McDermott, Pianeta, Dimitrenko, Sosnowski, Bidenko...and still he won't get his shot. If he beat, let's say, a shot Rahman, he'll get closer to a semifinal or some crap like that. Anyway, whoever wins the Peter-Vitali fights is scheduled to fight the winner of Virchis-Gomez, and the winner of the latter is allegedly scheduled to fight the winner of the supposed match up between Arreola and Tua. Forget about the WBC trinket until early 2010.
Im pretty sure this fight would set him up with a clash against Peter.... too much noise over here for it to be wrong?

A willaims vs Peter fight would be very intresting as both have good power and provided Williams took the fight seriously it could go anyway . Danny would be better off getting a WBA shot if the fight doesn'y happen and stay well clear of Wladimir.
Williams punch resistance isn't what it used to be and nowdays he just tries to soak up what the other guys throws at him before coming back . Prime Williams may have had a chance but todays Danny is British level and maybe on a good day European level . It would be great to see him get revenge on Sam..........in Turkey............with Oener going mental .
no way williams gets past peter. no chance whatsoever. his chin is much too shaky and sooner or later peter is gonna connect with a (rabbit)punch and have him dancing again. williams is hurt in every fight and though i like his exciting style he has no chance.
Yes Danny has a shaky chin nowdays but has shown he can rise from a knockdown and fight on win or lose , if jameel Mcline can knock peters down then Danny has just as good a chance , to say he has no chance is abit unfair , im not saying he would wipe the floor with peters just that he would give him a run for he's money
