    if he loses to canelo in a close competitve fight. Maybe the wbc will re rank jacobs in their rankings and Charlo vs Jacobs will be ordered as an eliminator to fight it out to become canelos mandatory. Which we could finally see Charlo tested. Jacobs fights everyone and anyone Big respect to jacobs whether he wins tommorow or loses he is really one of the true elites of today.

    just fighting everyone doesnt make u elite. it more suggests you are getting too many free passes.

    Jacobs was Golovkin's mandatory and is IBF world champ going into the Canelo fight. What free passes has he received?

    Or we could totally ignore Charlo, throw him in the bin where he belongs and have a Canelo vs Jacobs rematch. Nobody wants Jacobs vs Charlo other than FightHype. Charlo couldn't beat a fly in a ring let alone Jacobs.

    Honestly...people need to hop off the Charlo hype train at the nearby station and go over to the more premium, first class steam trains belonging to the elite middleweights. Charlo is a clown and would get schooled by Canelo, Jacobs, GGG, BJS, Andrade and the rest. He struggled against Korobov for goodness sakes. If he can't KO a past-it 36 year old world level at best fighter then what chance does he stand against the real elite of this division?

    i am not saying he has, but i am saying hes not elite. and i am saying he is lucky to have three shots before the age of 32, but he won his vacant tirle fair n square.

    So you chose to make this observation in a one-sentence post about Jacobs but were not applying that observation to him. So why post at all?

    What you mean to say is what happens if this fight does to the scorecards,, that's obviously a canelo win, no matter what happens in that ring.

    Only possible way Jacob's can win is by KO not tko, tko they'll find a reason to DQ Jacob's.

    Well it means - whatever leads to fights being made - the person benefiting from any form of 'strategic decisions' wasn't given a free pass....

    Apart from being paid millions? C'mon dude, CST80 is on the money with this one. Jacobs looks great on paper and in photoshoots but the reality is he's on the slide going by his last two outings and ripe for the taking by other top-tier MW's.
