How many times has he been the distance against a world class opponent?

He got stopped by Carl Thompson because he ran out of gas ...

If he can't hurt you he's in a messed up situation ...

Who has he fought with a jab like either Klitshcko?

the only way I could seem him fighting the second brother if he losses to the first, is if Haye has a good showing. If the fight was close or he looked good well even in the loss, it could be possible...I guess

These are both bad fights for him right now...I think he realizes that. I would like to see him fight maybe twice more before taking on the Champs. He really needs to grow into this weight. The heavyweight division is not nearly as bad as everyone thinks. Judging by the Monte Barrett fight, he is not used to this weight. He looked slower than usual and his footwork didn't look very good. He had no head movement and would be a sitting target for both Klitshcko Bros.

I would rank him 1 or 2 P4P, like others said before, if Haye beats both brothers, he would ultimately become the face of a division that was previously dead before his arrival. He would revive the division, and fans will comeback to watch the Heavyweights again, or at least him. Haye has alot going for him, an exciting style, an enertaining personality, good looks, and seems to want to fight the best the division has to offer, in my book he's everything you could want in Heavyweight, as long as his chin holds up, which is a big "If" at this point.

This is pretty much the long and the short of it.

If he beats both of them then boxing is in pretty good shape.

ok..we have Haye and fighters A,B,C,D,E,F, etc....

lets say Haye wins and is champ.....

Under him is still fighters A'B'C'D'E'F...

How is the division all of a sudden full of life if Haye wins when the players are the same as before he won? :huh

He should make top 10 by beating Wlad.If he went on to beat Vitali aswell that would just consolidate that position

Because Haye's ability to talk trash would make people want to see fighters a,b,c,d,e,f beat him and run him out. It's no different than the usual good guy-bad guy dynamic.

I'm going to be honest with you CHEF, Vitali and Wlad both have put on some exciting matches in the past, and they do knock people out, but neither one of them has a enertaining personality, and Wlad's fighting style and lack oppenents have been anything but impressive to us fight fans.

Haye might just get his ass knocked out by Wlad in June, but at least he gave us a fight to look forward too in the Heavyweight division. The last time Wlad gave me a fight to look forward too, I fell asleep by the 5th round. I just want excitement CHEF, and I'm not getting that currently with Wlad, and I'm not the only one that feels that way.

Your expectation is unrealistic...every heavyweight in this era is bigger and stronger than years past. Look what happens to every heavyweight who fights a "dog-fight", he retires shortly-after or becomes a shell of himself. Think about it. You want to see Gatti-Ward in the Heavyweight division and it's not possible.

I will give you that. Haye is exciting for the division from the **** talking and promotional side.
    I guess time will tell.

I don't think it unrealistic of him to want Klitschko to be involved in more exciting fights then he has been recently. The Ibragimov fight was the biggest in years for the heavyweight division and resulted in booing. All people ask is that they go away satisfied after his fights rather than feeling bitter towards the fighters because of what they have seen.He doesn't expect them to go toe to toe and throw bombs from the opening bell and have a war, that is unrealistic

But that is 1 guys fights... what about the fights that Haye is not in. They are the same guys as now. How does Haye beating Klitschko make those non Haye fights and the dision all of a sudden better?

So Wlad as champ fighting fighter a,b,c,and d... Wlad is fighting "bums" and "in a weak division"
    But..
Haye as Champ... all of a sudden the same fights with the same fighters a,b,c, and d ... they are now good fights in a good division

Haye must bring the best out of everyone i guess. OR maybe, just maybe its a double standard :hey
