If David Haye fights Audley Harrison I will lose all respect for him.

David Haye fighting Audley Harrison would be a huge, huge disapointment.

They hype will be good until the fight takes place and it finished in 2 uncompetative rounds. Then people will go back to thinking what a joke sport boxing is.

If you want to call yourself a champion there should be no easy fights. If he wants easy fights he should vacate his title and fight Tom Dallas. Its a better fight than Audley.

Well, yeah I agree but I don't think Haye deserves to be slaughtered for not fighting the best possible opponent out there every time he gets in the ring...who was the last fighter to do that.

We all know Harrison is a **** fight, but I still think it would generate some much needed publicity for the sport

I'm sure I'll get **** for this but I actually think Audley would give him a lot more trouble than people think!!!

But that is my point, most Haye apologists have used Haye's claims of slave contracts like they were facts. Yet rubbish those claims that don't suit their point of view.

I'm not saying Haye wasn't offered a **** contract btw, just pointing out the hypocrisy of peoples attitudes.

So if Booth just came out and said there was no offer, that would be good enough for you?

Are we just going believe the most recent person we hear?

Come on Rob, name me an established champion that has never had an 'easy defence' in recent times. I'm not a Haye fan or anything but **** we love bashing people in this country and he's not even signed anything yet!!

And if the fight lasts six rounds, the hype will be worth it - and I bet you watch it mate!

It just seems to me that Booth said that all this week Haye and he would be in talks with the different parties and they have kept quiet.

Sounds like some serious negotiating to me.

I think an announcement will come.

And if it is Audley, I've got no problem as long as he takes on a Klit after.

I mean who the **** was Kevin Johnson?

By the way my ear is fairly well tuned in with Matchroom, so if I hear anything you guys will be the first to know!!!

Haye deserves to be slaughtered after claiming he was going to clean out the HW division two years ago. Get's everyone excited, then backs out of two contracts with them, fights a paper champ, makes a defence against a boxer who hasn't been relevant for years and then could be fighting a boxer who just got outboxed by Michael ****ing Sprott!!

It's been 2 years since he called them out. Only a moron wouldn't slaughter him for conning people and lying through his teeth.

Much needed publicity for the sport? Fighting the world number 1/2 heavy weight would generate twice as much publicity so that argument is absolute codshite.

Exactly, it's as if Haye would be the first fighter to take a relatively easy fight for big money. The Klits have been doing it for years. Miguel Cotto is a warrior and a true champion but did he not beat up Michael Jennings and Alfonso Gomez recently? It's not right but they all do it...why get on Haye's case about it cos he is gonna fight a Klit eventually just give it time!

The only thing I would say to that is in the past Haye has always backed up his talk.......

    Why doubt him now?
