If Dawson wins, will Team Bute say "He's not a big enough name"?

I don't see how they could say that, Dawson is better known than Bute is.

They could point to the fact that Dawson never packs the house, and use that as their excuse.

I thought I read recently that Dawson was willing to go to Canada to face Bute if he beats Pascal, it would make sense because he's fighting there this weekend. Dawson-Bute would be a good fight but I can't see Bute taking it. I think he beats up on some mandatories, while headlining in Canada, until he gets either Pavlik or the Super 6 winner.

That's what I see taking place as well. I wouldn't blame him if he went that route.

That would be ridiculous so they won't say that. Bute alone packs the house. Don't make them look like if they were dumb people. If they don't want a fight against Dawson, they only have to say they don't want to go to LHW. In fac, they don't have to say nothing.

I expect Bute to accept a challenge against Dawson. If Dawson wins. If there is not a rematch against Pascal. Bute has improved a lot recently. He's added a couple of new weapons in his arsenal but the main thing is that he does everything better than ever. Time to step up.

If Pascal's shoulder is 100%, we could see a similar fight to Dawson-Johnson I, where Dawson nearly got beat.

Dawson says he's willing to go down to 168. Shaw has proposed for the fight to be at LHW. I think if Team Bute insisted, they would make the fight at 168. However, it may actually be better for Bute to take the fight at LHW.

Yeesh. Nothing is ever this black and white. No wonder all the idiots around here talk about X ducking Y and all that.

Bute will face Dawson if HBO makes it lucrative enough for him. It's purely a finances thing. Dawson will want big money, but he won't bring much to the promotion other than more money from HBO. Bute would sell out the Bell Centre without him.

Also, Bute knows he has a lucrative fight or two coming in about a year if he just sits on his belt. He's not going to risk that unless he knows he's making really good coin now.

If HBO is willing to kick in about $4M for the fight to happen, it will happen. If they're not, then it won't.

In an article on CBC, Shaw said he wants to make the fight at a catchweight of 172, so Bute could keep his belt either way.

Dawson is Bute's worst nightmare. He'll avoid the fight for as long as he can.

Shaw just tries to protect Dirrell from Bute and is willing to feed him Dawson instead. Looks like another hypejob will get KTFO´d soon :hey
