If De la Hoya came out of retirement could he beat Martinez?

    Hey guys

    We all know that Oscar has that announcement...Imagine if he came out of retirement to fight Martinez....their both big guys around the same age...Martinez would get a payday and get super star exposure.

    Oscar would have an oppotuntity to beat an elite level fighter in there FIGHTING PRIME (not age prime example Martinez and Froch)

    No sir he could not.

    It's a shame he didn't return a few years ago to fight Chavez Jr (given he beat Senior when young) because I really felt he could of won that one, but I think even that's beyond him now.

    I hope he stays retired.

    No, Martinez may not have a pretty style (looks awkward to me) but that's what makes him effective.

    At first glance, I would say that is ridiculous but then again, nothing shocks me anymore in boxing. Look @ how Morales is doing after coming out of retirement.
