If De La Hoya loses to Forbes then what happens - Does he still take on Floyd or..................Or does he hang the gloves up?

What will Floyd do if Oscar retires.........?

What does Forbes do next after his win if he wins?

Any thoughts on how this would pan out?

Unless Hoya gets injured during the fight, he will not lose to Forbes. This fight is a classic set-up. Forbes does not have the power to hurt DLH. He also doesn't have the size or speed to outbox Hoya. If Forbes some how miraculously wins this fight, Hoya will retire in shame and Floyd will never talk to Roger, Jeff, or Floyd Sr. again.

Rematch Forbes and prove it was one hell of a miracle.

But seriously this DLH should stop him in the 10-12th round and thats because he will need to sharpen his skills.

^^ PBF's camp said they are not interested in a Cotto fight at all.

I am seriously thinking it will never happen and you know what i dont care. Cotto doesnt need him.

i'd love to answer that question. but its completely impossible. Forbes isn't terribly difficult to outbox with speed. and hoya still has enough of it and tremendous skills to make the guy look silly. i think he is going to carry him and try some new things out. thats about it.

i think he'll still fight Mayweather if he loses. I sure hope Oscar wins though.

Ive always liked Steve Forbes but this is one of the very rare times im giving a guy basically no shot to win a fight. Steve Forbes is a good 140 pounder nothing more nothing less he hangs in and IMO beat Panchito Bojado and Demitrus Hopkins recently some solid fighters but I cant imagine him hanging with the top 5 Junior Welterweights. While Oscar is the other hand he may getting older and doesnt fight very often is still a great fighter and IMO is probablly the 2nd best Junior Middleweight out there behind Vernon Forrest and he took Floyd to his closest and toughest fight since 2002 and became the only man to actually win a scorecard on Floyd. So basically you got a good little fighter vs a great bigger fighter. Steve doesnt have any power as it is and Oscars chin is iron so a KO isnt happening and Oscar doesnt cut much so even thats out the window. Since the fight is at 150 I dont expect Oscar to come in chubby like he did vs Sturm he should be in fine shape. Oscars alot taller then Steve and has a fantastic jab basically I wouldnt be suprised if he uses this fight to keep his jab going on a more consistent basis and basically toys with Steve to get some rounds under his belt and carrys him maybe even trying things out that Floyd Sr has him working on for a Floyd rematch. Oscar has dynamite power especially agianst smaller guys so he can take Forbes out whenever he wants alot like he did with Mayorga just **** around and get some rounds and like I said in this fight unlike Mayorga who had a slight punches chance theres really nothing Forbes can do. Oscar TKO sadly for Forbes in any round he wants.
