Hopkins? Hatton? Mosley? Who else has a claim?

Bernard or Pac might still have a case.I cannot see JMM losing to Diaz and I don't think that is a biased view

What are you trying to say??
You would have Vasquez 1 and Bernard 2 or vice versa?

So if Hatton beats Pacquiao, Pacquiao is still better than Hatton? I mean obviously it depends on the manner of the win but if Hatton clearly beats Pacquiao then how can you see Pacquiao as the better fighter?

Its not like Pac has plans to move back down to 135.

You got Mosley too high there IMO.I'd have Pac 3,JMM4/5,Hatton4/5,Mosley 6

Its tricky because the weight could always be used particularly by Hattons detractors as Pac has never fought at this weight(even though he has fought either side of it)

and they would be right to point to Hatton's size advatage but to them i would say Pacquiao today is a 140lb fighter so you have to judge him as a 140lb fighter, not as how good he would be if he were fighting in a lower weightclass which he is no longer a part of.

I would say the best would be between Hopkins and Mosley, despite how old they are. Maybe Cotto as #3, Hatton as #4, Pac #5. After all Cotto does have a recent win over Mosley.

    its ****ed up isn't it.

Fair enough that is your list.
I'd just have Pac and JMM both moving down to 3 and 4 respectively and have Hatton leap frog Mosley into 5.I'd probably have Mosley 5 right now aswell

That is a good point.I heard Roach said that Pac could no longer make 135/won't be fighting there again. Therefore,I guess hatton himself has a claim if he does beat the current no.1.We all know that Hatton would consider himself holder of that imaginary p4p title

I don't know, I guess Hops would be... a very old and unsteady #1 I'd say.

there is no imaginary p4p title except in Hatton's imagination. It doesn't work that way.
