    Fighter of the year?

Say a Maccarinelli, Huck, Cunningham top 10 ranked guy, he may get one of these guys before the end of the year and if he wins again, by KO no less, I really cannot think of anyone who would deserve 'fighter of the year' than Darnell.

You have to see the complete turn around in his career from 2006-2007 and that'd be a former titlist starched in Davis, a dangerous contender in Nwodo and then X ranked contender, IF the fight is won of course by Ding.

That'd just be crazy considering he was headed towards a journeyman style career with the supposed health issue's.

Furthermore, Ding deserves a top 5 Cruiserweight ranking, he's KOed Brown, Davis, Judah and Nwodo and there are few who have those type of credentials at CW in 'recent' memory, meaning a year or so.

I'd say he is well damn close if not the fighter of the year...

Why not? Fighter of the year is an award to a fighter who's done something special and one more contender win for Ding and he'll have one of the best resume's of any active Cruiserweight in recent standings, going from a journeyman/gate keeper to this is very special.

he'd need to destroy enzo in his home town - frank warren won't allow this fight as he protects his boxers from big hitters

    There are other options.

    Huck, Cunningham, Arslan etc. etc.

Hell, even a guy like Vadim Tokarev who only has the single loss to Huck and Vadim is a very easy fight for Ding IMO.

Just any ranked top 10 guy will seal a title shot and a definite top 3 spot, which again is an amazing turn around.

Pavlik and IF Cotto wins are more deserving.

And Mayweather more than both. But I know you won't accept that.

Mayweather, for old DLH and Hatton? No.

But, DLH and Hatton certainly are better wins than Taylor and Miranda, so I will agree with that, but should Cotto dominate Mosely like he did Judah, then Cotto should be given the 'competition nod'.

Not a chance. Old DLH isn't older than Old Mosley. And Hatton is a league above Judah.

No, but it would be the "best story of the year"

I disagree that Hatton is a league above Judah, especially since Mayweather-Hatton is at WW and Hatton proved exceptionally vulnerable at WW.

And I stated that it's if Mosely is dominated, Floyd did not dominate DLH, it was a contested match, though he may have carried Oscar.

Fights have to be judged on how they are won, PBF will utterly destroy Hatton and stop him, that's a given and Cotto may or may not dominate Shane, we'll see. But the DLH win is certainly up for criticism.
