Let's say the Don is in his prime in the 40 s and Joe Louis ends up signing with him .Let's assume that Joe thinks this is a great idea at the time..Would this change thing's for Louis ..would Joe s career be ruined as many 80 s heavy s were? Good or bad for Louis having The Don in his corner?

PS .Not quite sure what chances are of Don being as big in the 40s as he was in the 80 s are , but I'm sure he'd have done his best to get there !

I can't see this ending well for Louis.

He went broke with management who broadly looked after his interests.

I'm sure there were worse managers than Don King and he made Tyson the richest fighter in the sport up until that point.

I'm leaning that way myself .The Don certainly wouldn't be the best deal for Joe .He'd have promised Louis the best but I don't see it .

Oh he may well have made Tyson wealthy but was he truly the best man for the job in the long run ?
