If Donaire-Rigondeaux was on PPV would you buy/watch it?

I would yes but I don't think they would sell 12 ppvs amongst casuals.

You can throw an undercard with Mijares vs Marquez II( luring the mex fans) and Juanma come back against a decent name( luring the ricans fans) and see the card selling a decent number.

I don't like Rigondeaux and Donaire is a little bit overrated. I don't like this division very much.

I would buy it. I am a fan of both and have wanted to see them fight for a while. Hopefully Mares gets the winner.

I surely would being a fan of Donaire, but I have a hard time it would do any more than the 40k Hopkins/Dawson got unless Arum stocks up the card.

I think with 24/7 Donaire could be made into a star. I think Rigondeux has a compelling enough story and record that they'd get at least 100k buys and probably 200k. It would sell better than a Hopkins fight. Probably sell about as well as anyone at that weight as it's the best fight that can be made.

They'd probably be better off not going the PPV route because while Donaire is a name, Rigondeux is the spoiler.

I think it can do 200k MAYBE with enough hype. Rigondeux sucks at selling himself though. Someone who does not speak english has to fight often so people know his name and face. His name is hard to pronounce and he's not even popular in Cuba. It's a hard sell.

I do think Rigondeux could do it but he would have to rely on his Olympic record.

i don't know man, maybe i'm shortchanging it by saying it would do less than 50k buys, but I don't think Donaire has a name beyond us die-hard fight fans and some Pinoys, but even then a lot of my fellow Pinoys that only watch Pac fights do not really know/watch Donaire.

I do agree Donaire could be made into a star if he has a 24/7, but I'd think a Donaire v Mares would sell more PPV's just with the Mexican audience to count on.

Hell no. And what's the point? They would only be paying Rigo to make a short appearence anyway.
