These guys like Klitschkos, Joshua, Lewis, Wilder, etc. Would be much less effective without roids. They would be gangly, tall and awkward. Even though they already are.

They use steroids to fill out their 6'6" frames. They're so damn huge and tall and steroids are there way of filling out their long frames.

Steroids change everything. I mean it's ridiculous the size you can pack on with roids. And for the HW divison especially those awkward tall guys that is a major help.

Take away steroids and we will see the return of the 6'2" 215 pound heavyweight rule once more.

Until then they will be outsized by those giant roid freaks.

    Kinda makes sense actually.
Tall fighters have to work hard to fill out their frame.
With a **** ton of squats a natural guy can add a lot of muscle, but aside from Jarrell Miller I don't see those powerlifter builds too often. I.e. Wlad don't have the powerlifting build. He looks like your typical gym rat that only does leg press once a week.
So yeah I see your point, but also think a guy that would otherwise be tall and lanky can still add a lot of muscle with heavy squats.
Steroids are obviously an easier way to achieve adding bulk, and strength.
    That's why they're so popular.

Truth be told. A natural guy who squats/deadlifts/benches with a powerlifting mindset will still out lift most steroid users who are "chasing the pump".

Tall lanky fighter's could add a ton of strength, but less size with powerlifting without roids.

It's true, long frames need more roids to fill out but then again the short guys wouldn't be roided pitbulls either. It would be an even playing field. However you'd see an average weight of heavyweights drop and the statistics such as knockout, punches per round, etc. drastically drop.

It would just as competitive but more boring.

Steroids are only part of the PED picture comma boxers are also benefiting from the use of various forms of blood doping like EPO and meldonium.

and then the 6'2 215 guys without the steroids how do they perform or fill out

maybe they stay 6'2 but are 195 or 205 and either cruisers or unremarkable undersized heavyweights

5'10 and 220lbs is probably a result of steroids. A natural well muscled guy that height would be 185-195lb tops as in dudes like Marciano and Patterson.
