If Dubois beats Usyk, is he the 2nd greatest British heavyweight ever?

What do you guys think? If Dubois beats Usyk and becomes the undisputed heavyweight champion, will he surpass the likes of Fury, AJ, Fitzsimmons when it comes to the resume and historical significance? He already has a good CV consisting of Miller, Hrgovic and AJ, if he adds Usyk to it, in my view he definitely surpasses AJ, but what about Fury? Belly never became undisputed and lost to the same Usyk twice. Clearly. Would his scalps from Wlad and Wilder trump DDD's scalps from Usyk and AJ? And how the great Fitzs fits (pun intended) into this picture?

Is this a thread where we get Canada and the UK to argue about who claims Lewis?

When Dubious KO's Usyk we'll get a trilogy end of year or Fury will scalp Dubious for fun end of year following Usyk's retirement.

I'd have him 3rd behind Lennox and Farr. Despite being retired from 27-37 Farr had 100 more fights at Dubois's current age and he went the distance with prime Joe Louis.

I'm struggling more with putting him over Bugner, Bruno and Scot who had long careers then Fury, AJ or Haye whose resumes aren't that much longer than Dubois. For this prior era where the top guys have short resumes and don't fight each other Usyk(presumably), AJ, Hrgovic, Lerena and Miller is enough but its really not that much. The quality of Dubois's wins need clarity. Heres some questions.

A)How good was AJ really as he avoided most of the best fighters of his generation? Did Dubois expose AJ or is AJ as good as advertised and Dubois is just a monster?
B)Did Dubois beat Hrgovic because hes better of because Hrgovic took Dubois lightly?
    C)How good is Hrgovic?
D)How good is Usyk? Usyk has beaten 5 HWs and his big wins other than Dubois himself are champs who really swindled the fighting public into thinking they are the best without proving it. If Dubois beats Usyk fairly easy how are we rating Usyk?
E)Does Lerena beat Okolie? What does Lerena do?
F)Does Miller go on a run? Currently Dubois is his only loss.

It would cement his arrival, beyond all doubt, as the natural heir as extremely likely dominant champion of the next era...
And remove any question marks anyone might have about him being a top top contender after the Parker fight didn't happen.

But in the fullness of time...
Would Dubois at the beginning of his prime beating old Usyk ripe for retirement really qualify as a significantly bigger win than either Fury or AJ beating Wlad?
I suspect in some ways yes and in some ways no - Usyk has been undisputed, which Wlad wasn't, but Wlad had a much longer reign and a lot more good quality depth on his resume...

Or in short - just another changing of the guard from the leading light of a dying era to the torchbearer for the next era.

    It happens. Plenty.

But as far as hype in the short term goes? Sure, it'd boost him as much as Wlad boosted Fury and Joshua - it'd feel like more, until he gets old and passes on the torch to the next great light, but in reality it probably wouldn't be that much different.

NO. KO'd against Joyce, favorable officiating against Lerena, where he went down 3 times. Usyk is fighting father time at this point.

However, if he beats Usyk and has several defenses against Parker, Kabayel, Wardley, and whoever else make their way up, then we can talk.

I like Daniel, seems like the kind of guy you'd like your daughter to bring home for dinner, dresses sharp, clean shaven etc., but I honestly wouldn't give him much credit for beating Usyk at this stage. We're talking about a guy that is 38 years old. Who gets massive credit for beating a fighter that old when they are prime? Especially a cruiser who relies on speed? Even if he'd beaten Usyk the first time, the size difference is ridiculous and there was still a big age difference. But it would have been an impressive win considering what Usyk has done at HW.

People might bring up Wlad/Fury but the difference is that Wlad was a SHW KO artist who fought at a slow pace, so it definitely ages better than a bulked up cruiser with average power and a style based on endurance and speed. Even still, Fury doesn't deserve the same credit beating Wlad there as he would if Wlad was prime age. His win isn't as good as Sanders or even Brewster, though Brewster took massive damage to wear Wlad out so it wasn't exactly a clinic.

With all the cheap, sleazy illegal tactics this mouth breather does… I don’t think he should be put in the same sentence as ANY of the legitimate past champions to be honest. No matter who he beats. Can’t stand boxers that do that ****.
