What does that say about the heavyweight division? I was watching some of Chambers fights and his fundamentals are really strong, probably as good as the Klitschko brothers. Extremely good defense, very cagey, with underrated power. I think he can pull off the upset.
Chambers fundamentals are not that good. He has a nice quick one two, and that's about it. His other skill is that he is able to sort of lean back to lessen the impact of punches. Against a tall power puncher like either Klitschko, that lean back motion spells doom! Chamber has awful footwork, his power is non existent. He does okay with the lackluster guys who over run this crap era, but against good fighters like either Klitschko, he stands no chance.
Which is very important for him to do that, after all he is a small heavyweight and he doesn't have the greatest chin. Against Dimitrenko, he showed superb reflexes and head movement, but I agree with you he does have his weaknesses.
I think Eddie is the best American heavyweight, and he's as humble as they come. If anyone, I would love it to be him.. I just don't see him beating Wladimir or Vitali, but he would undeniably have a rather great shot against David Haye. I would favor him.
Incorrect. The way he leans back will get hm killed against a power puncher with long arms. He needs to learn to duck, bob and weave the correct way. To slip inside. The way Chambers fights now, he will look exactly like every other person who fights Wlad. Standing still blocking and eating jabs until he gets KOed.
