How would his career have turned out?

The guy is talented, fast hands, good skills movements and one of the divisions biggest punchers. I think he'd have still lost against Haye but it would have been much more competitive. He'd have beat Afolabi, would have beat Frenkel but I think he'd have been outpointed by Lebedev and Braehmer still.

Still, given a good chin he'd have had a cracking career. Still has had a great career to be fair.

What if Paulie could punch? He has everything else, skills, heart, speed, chin...

    But he didn't.

He was soundly outboxed and outfought by B level fighters like Hatton and D Level ones like Khan.

He'd have beaten Afolabi if he had more sense on the night

Could have just stuck him at the end of the jab and won a routine 12 but he forced the issue

True, he did take too many unneeded risks. But if he had a chin and thought that way, I don't think Afolobi would have stopped him.

Enzo has a **** defence and poor head movement on top of his weak chin. He has good hands tough.

They wouldn't have been able to do that if he had even the tiniest amount of pop in his punches.

I agree, it's not just the chins ability to absorb, it's the fact that he lacks the ability to make people miss which is kind of important in boxing haha

Give any fighter an attribute they don't have and it completely changes everything, they might not even fight in the same style, so therefore every fight they've ever had would be different.

The dude Braehmer that laid him out, that was a sickening ko. He had 11 months off after that.

Loved Joe as a fighter, but I recall reading someone on here who went to see him at an event in Motherwell not so long ago.

And he mentioned the white powder I think and him just wanting to chat up women at the bar afterwards, or something to this effect.

Put me right off him as a person.

True, he's had more lines than Ian Beale in Eastenders.
