Usyk won both of his world titles on the road in his opponent's backyards and they were both unbeaten quality fighters. And his 2nd and 3rd defence were on the road in his opponent's home country and the other was on neutral soil (Mchunu in the US)

Interesting, I can see your point.

It's just that I tend to give a little bonus for having more fights / more depth, and also thought Thurman - Garcia was pretty comprehensive. It should've been a UD and Thurman purposely lost the last two rounds by refusing to engage as he'd already won 8 rounds or so pretty clearly in my books.

If he wins the tournament he should be top 5 imo.

Usyk’s resume is already better than Crawford’s.

I know I know... “B.. Bu.. But POSTOL DOE!”

Usyk is top 10 PFP easily. I wonder if Ol’ BUD will call out Usyk after he gets passed by him in the PFP rankings! :) I mean he does walk around at 180. Nah.. he’ll just stick to flapping his lips at 130 guys.

I think Usyk is clearly 11-13, I don't think he breaks top 10 just yet.

Beating Gassiev will get him comfortably in.

Usyk has done something SOB Ward would never do and that's fight in someone elses' backyard, hell SOB always demands his personal judges, referee and boxing commission, and SOB does not have to obey the rules, he lost to Kovalev in the first fight by decision and should have been disqualified in the rematch, testicle blows are illegal..............If Harvey Dock would have been the referee instead of Tony Weeks, SOB would have been disqualified.............so, Usyk should be given credit, this fight tonight was good for Usyk, he learned from it............he won the fight clearly..............

You have a point but Povetkins best wins were 10 years ago: Byrd and Chambers.

Huck beat the **** out of Povetkin :boxing1(But that's not the point)

Overall, Povetkin has the best resume at HW but hes clearly not the fighter he was just a few years ago. No P4P lists for him.

BoxRec even has Jeff Horn above Usyk... so we can't expect anything that makes sense from them at least.

The winner of the CW tournament is definitely P4P calliber.

If he wins he'll have beaten Ring rated #3 Briedis and #2 Gassiev.

If Eubanks wins it he'll have beaten Ring rated #2 Groves and #3 Smith (assuming he beats Braymer)

So if there's an argument for Usyk top 10 there's an argument for Screwbanks as well.

Then you have other guys knocking on the door like Joshua if he beats beats Parker , Jack if he beats Stevenson and BJS once he gets his hands on the Canelo v Golovkin winner.
