You don't get much credit for beating a smaller man, so no. And we all know Sergio wouldn't outbox Mayweather, so all these Sergi-hoes are hoping for is the one shot that'll KO Floyd.

Wtf? Of course Sergio could KO Mayweather. I don't know anyone saying otherwise.

Can Sergio "get that one shot" is the question that's very debatable.

Yes he could.. He touched THE GHOST so there's no way MONEY will be untouchable.. :D :D

But seriously, Mayweather won't be able to evade all of the power punches Martinez will throw.. One will connect, two or three will follow.. That would hurt him like never before.. Even if it hits the gloves, or the arms, or the elbows, or the shoulders Floyd will definitely feel it.. It will affect the way he fights and will commits some mistakes.. :bbb

    What a general statement.. :yep

There's a lot of boxers who can beat him.. The Klitchkos would beat him.. Haye and Chisora would kill him.. Hopkins, Bute and a lot more.. :rofl

Floyd will NEVER fight Maravilla.. Sergio would pose all sorts of problems for Floyd. He's just too slick, too skilled, too sexy, too powerful and he has great stamina.. Floyd would never risk his 0 to fight Sergio.. Floyd couldn't deal with all that..

Yes it is a big accomplishment, but just because you beat the man, doesn't make you the man.

See Hopkins....... beat Trinidad and Oscar and still can't sell PPV

Martinez combination of size, speed, ring generalship, volume, and power would be very difficult for Floyd to deal with.

But Floyd's counterpunching style could cause Sergio a lot of problems; however, Floyd has a tendency to fight aggressively against Southpaws.

If he fights aggressive against Sergio, he gets knocked out.

If he fights smart, he could win, but it would take everything in his arsenal, and he would take some serious punches at some point when Martinez times him.

I have to see where Floyd is at before I make a decision. The Ortiz fight ended too abruptly to tell me anything.

But honestly, if the fight stagnates, it could very well favor Martinez due to his workrate, size, and speed.

And if Floyd turns it on, he's going to take a serious shot or two. Can Floyd hurt Martinez? Maybe, but, only one way to find out.

Mayweather is a bigger name than Oscar and Trinidad I believe.. Plus Mayweather is only one of the biggest name.. There is also Pacquiao..

If Martinez manages to win over Floyd, fight fans would also wants Martinez to fight Pac.. :smoke

If that would happen, that would be Pac's farewell fight I believe.. That would be Pac's way of saying goodbye to boxing.. Imagine the size difference on fight night.. Martinez weighing at least 170 lbs and Pac would just be 150 lbs.. :deal

Hasn't team pac already claimed that maritnez at 154lb is not going to happen. Did they not stipulate 147 or 150lb? :rofl
