Floyd would retire immediately. Even San Francisco is to faraway to fight.

I think the highlighted comment (throughout history) at the start of the thread is what prompted his reply.
If it was all time at SMW Eubank would have to be given a chance and at MW Lamotta would possibly be still standing at the end.

At LWW I think L Matthysse has a chance, seems to have a good chin to go with his punch

Some people just not understanding what the thread is about, Sugar Ray Leonard is a better fighter than Duran overall head to head. But when he decided to go toe to toe with Duran in their first fight we saw what happened. Toe to toe is a separate element in boxing.

Jake Lamotta won't go down, at MW I would pick Hagler as I have seen more off him, but Lamotta, from the little I have seen of him, was iron heart.

Aaron Pryor with his black bottle would have to be favorite in the LWW division but then you also got JCC, and Duran both solid chin fighters back in the LW days and Lucas Matthysse is up there in terms of brawling.

At SMW, people may disagree but I would choose Kessler maybe because I have followed his career more than Eubanks. Calzaghe although not exactly my favorite fighter, he has proven to triumph in tare ups so he is also another one I would favor in toe to toe match ups.

Chisora is one of the few heavyweights today that has to go toe to toe so everyone respects him. Deontay Wilder went toe to toe with Audley, Chisora went toe to toe with Vitali, Helenius, Haye and none of them wanted to slug it out but decided to use other means.
