If everyboby else is willing to face Pac without a blood test, why isn't Floyd?

i completely understand that. but there's always something to be said about the psychological game. i know if i didn't absolutely have to fight someone (especially an ATG) to solidify my legacy and they wanted to just throw something ridiculous out there like floyd did, i would probably do the same thing. where's the reward for pac if he's not completely 100% confident?

Petrocelli said the suit seeks "compensatory and punitive damages in excess of $75,000.

"No amount of money is specified," said Petrocelli, "but given the damage that these people have already done, it would be in the tens and tens of millions of dollars."

Where's the reward for Pac? Outside of the monetary reward, this is the type of fight that any true competitor wants. This is the biggest fight that can be made in the sport and it involves the sport's two best fighters. No way in hell would I turn down that opportunity because I didn't want to take a drug test. Mayweather is being ridiculous as well, but it's more understandable for him to asks for stringent testing if he believes Pac is dirty. There's no good reason for refusing to take a blood test in a fight of this magnitude if you're clean.

But the guy I responded to claims Pac doesn't need any money and doesn't care what people think. If those two statements are true, then why would he bother filing a lawsuit? Pac has little chance of winning this suit and even less chance of getting tens of millions of dollars. I believe this is strictly a P.R move that's being made precisely because Pac cares so much about what other people think.

That's all good and everything, but if he doesn't need any money then why would he care about losing endorsements? And if cares about money that much that he would sue to recover lost endorsement deal even though he doesn't need the money, then why wouldn't he just agree to the tests and collect the $40+ mill he would make against Mayweather? Also has Pacquiao lost any endorsement deals to date since this fiasco started? You have to really question why he would be filing this suit if he's not even losing any endorsements and if his popularity hasn't suffered. Can anyone even find any quotes from Mayweather Jr. or anyone from GBP accusing Pac of taking steroids?

What don't I get? You claimed Pac is suing because he's losing endorsements and because his name is being tarnished. Where is the proof that he's losing endorsements or that his name is being tarnished?

The "Pac doesn't care about the money" claim is and will always be bollocks.

This is someone that was prepared to walk away from the Hatton fight if he didn't get more money even though he already verbally agreed to 50-50, he ended up settling for 52-48 of the split.

If he isn't fighting for money then what is he fighting for? Legacy?

If he's fighting for legacy then why is fighting a B level fighter like Clottey for?
