What chance do you think this has of happening, and how would Fedor do at this stage of his career in the 205lbs division? :bbb

I am really not sure Fedor can make 205, but if he can, ya he will be a tough opponent for anyone.

I see him KOing Machida and Rua, but losing to Jones who I think has a good chance against anyone at HW even. This is assuming that he handles the transition well to HW, he has never really had to cut-weight before, perhaps that was one of the reasons for his dominance. As I sated before, 25lbs is a lot to cut

The fights at 220lbs. Although im not expecting Hendo to weigh much more than 210.

how can he not make 205? he walks around at 215 that would be a easy cut for fedor. fedor and jones would be sick, machida would beat fedor but shogun would get killed by fedor.

He walks around at 215? really? He gains 15lbs before every fight by eating kielbasa so he can make his fighting weight of 230-235lbs?

He does not walk around at 215Ibs. He usually weighs in at 230Ibs. Has apparently dropped a bit of weight in preparation for this fight.

And those opponents are in the UFC - unless he's willing to accept a UFC contract he's not getting in. There is nothing for him at 205Ibs in Strikeforce - why do you think Henderson is moving up? If Fedor gets the win then whoever loses between Overeem and Werdum would make a marketable opponent for the end of the year.

No he can't. The last time Fedor weighed anything remotely close to 215lbs was when he was in RINGS. Fedor walks around at plus 230lbs. He doesn't cut weight for fights. That's never been part of his training regime. Even at his peak his best weight was 220-225.

fedor doesnt feel comfortable with cutting that much weight and you would think that he has a lot of fat but he doesnt, sure a bit of a belly but he has some sick muscles under there and fat absorbs better than muscles

He's a HW , all be it a small one he is still a HW , and over the years has depended on the agility / speed advantage , he loses that @205 and would depend on being a bully ala Mark Coleman , Randy Couture (both dropped down from HW succesfully due to there style) , this would not suit Fedor .

A lot of people forget how long Fedor had not competed in a cage with state side rules , this is for me the biggest factor in Fedors recent defeat against Silva , he was bullied by weight and size against a cage wall where he had no where to run , this is something Fedor has never been faced with in live competition against the worlds best !!! , and for me is the number 1 factor that a) Silva beat him and b) he has less defeats on his record (thats debatable as it was pretty much without doubt that Fedor was the best HW in the world during the Pride glory days) .

Fedor doesn't blow up in between fights. His walking around weight tops is 235lbs. He also doesn't cut weight for fights. He's never been anything remotely close to 245.

Really ?? and you know this how :huh

Fedor weighs in on fight night 230 , a training camp alone should drop at least 15 pounds in weight even for somewhone who obviously doesnt cut weight like Fedor !!!!

Hence Noguierra normally beginning a training camp 250 +
