I'd be shocked but I'd be happy for Parker too as I do genuinely like him as a fighter. A loss isn't the end of the world for Joshua. He's at the same age Wlad and Lewis lost, he can regroup and come again stronger just like Parker could if he loses. Fact is British fans tend to be pretty loyal, even if he loses, it wouldn't effect his marketability much, he'd still be the biggest draw at heavyweight. Look at Haye, lost a few times, still makes millions per fight for fighting guys like Bellew, Haye's probably the 2nd biggest draw at heavyweight despite being past prime. Froch lost to Kessler and Ward then went on to sell 80K at Wembley.
We all hope AJ will win so Deontay can unite, but if AJ loses we will all still have each other guys. Love you guys man
Ill be as upset as when Floyd played with Manny and as upset as when Ward bent over Kovalev. In other words, no chance of me crying tonight.
The AJ brand will be severely damaged but Sky will rebuild him and he will be world champion again with 12 months.
I'd laugh my to tits off just as I did when Khan got KO'd off Prescott. Also I'll love the total meltdown that the UK press, Hearn and all the casuals will go into.
I won't be crying, but i guess lot of heavyweight fighters will, as fighting AJ brings them better purses than fighting anyone else.
No, I like both fighters very much. But I will definitely shed a tear of happiness if Price somehow pulls of the upset against Povetkin.
