Food for though. If fenech had trained Mundine right from the start, how do you guys see his career panning out (especially since Nasser is out of the picture)? Better or worse? explain... Opinions guys...
They would have split sooner or later, just like most of the guys Fenech trains. But Mundine would probably be better because Fenech is a better trainer than Tony Mundine.
Uppercut, didnt you used to be a big Mundine fan? Mundine is his own man, he is the man, you gotta beat the man to be the man, so Fenech cant be the man, because Munine is. :nut
thats what i was thinking. But dont you think fenech might have forced a different style on mundine? Tony allowed choc to develop in his own style at his own pace.
If Fenech trained Mundine you would all see an aggresive Tyson type swarmer that would try and get in on the inside on fights to land smashing rib busters. He would come in after a lightning jab, bobbing and weaving. He would stalk down everyone of his opponents beautifully cutting off the ring. Mundine would get hit alot more but the damage he would dish out would be amazing.
If Fenech trained Mudnine, they would have had a falling out pretty quickly - 2 huge egos like theirs wouldn't work well together.
Probably similiar to the ego Green acquired over the last 5yrs. No wonder Fenech and DB had a failing out. DB wanted his sole focus which is understandable if u are an A class fighter (Which Green isn't)
Yeah, but Fenech took off to the US to train Tyson for McBride while Green was prepping for Beyer 2, and I understand that was the last straw on Greeny's back.
