Sensible purses, none of this $50 mil per fight madness.

No rematch clauses and one belt one champion per weight division.

    The best fight the best!

How much better would boxing be?

    Sounds like heaven to me.

It'd be on the right track. Sad things is boxing's problems don't stop there.

I still don't understand why Promoters don't want to make big fights even if one fighter is with another promoter.

Fury vs Wilder is good example how two big promoters can deal with each other and still make big money, good show and solid fights.

At least twice per year, they can make it happen fights like that

    Crawford vs Spence

    Loma vs Davies

    Usyk vs Fury

I think because things are so spintered and thay're a lot of people making money in the food chain. I would rather just have one belt or two max and reduce it to say 10 divisions getting rid of a lot of the lower weights with only a few pounds difference also have one overarching authority for the whole sport. The problems is all the orgs and promotional companies make cash by having multiple cash cows that don't mean anything unless someone unifies this in turn makes being a World Champion diluted as they're potentially 6 other people who can claim the same thing. I think for this to actually change would be the sport collapsing in order for it to be restructered. I don't see there being an incentive for the parties involved. Boxing has always been corrupt and I don't seee that changing anytime soon.

They have yoked their fortunes to the networks they've signed with. Networks which are fighting each other for the finite resource that boxing's global appeal makes up. There are likely too many to be profitable so the promoters are desperate not to make deals which will benefit their rivals, because each time they do they increase the chance that it will be their own network/liferaft which sinks before that of their opponents.

In Al Haymon's case most notably, he's trying to 'own' boxing by restricting his fighters as much as possible to match-ups within his own walled garden. Hence the talk of PBC belts and titles. He doesn't want to make Spence Crawford whilst there's any chance of delaying it, he'd sooner take the lesser rewards and keep one of Top Rank's assets less productive.

Haymon is simply the most obvious example, but this of course applies to all of them.
