If Floyd and Pac agree to 50/50 will they both make the same amount?

Do you know that you just contradicted yourself? Floyd doesn't have a long-term contract with GBP, but if he decides to tap a major promotion like GBP in one fight then he's in the same shoes like any other fighter.

Pac only has Arum to pay. Floyd has Schaefer and Haymon to pay. Though Arum is the bigger schmuck. Koncz and Ellerbe doesn't count, because they work under the fighter regardless.

GBP only co-promotes.Oscar is lucky to get 8-10 million ever in these things.HBO only gets about 10 mil(they usually owe a guarantee of about 30 mil. of 40 or so,hardly worth it.)The building brings in 10-14 mil of which most goes to Floyd, with splits to GBP and fighters.

So an 80 mil fight = about 40 mill to HBO - 30 mill guaranteed to fighters.Floyd gets his 25 from HBO there.Has the other 40 mill (of the 80) to pay oscar 10,opponent 5 mill, arena 5-8 mil, plus ads 5 mil.

So of 80 million fight total, floyd sees 65 mil gross (his 25m guarantee plus the 40m "left-over").65 million minus GBP fee 10mil,opponent and card fee 5 mil(which Mayweather guarantees to the fighters himself) and building 5 mil as well as promotion 5 mil.

So,65m-25m=40 million for Floyd.Gate revenue and concessions separate of course.

This is how he made 42 million off of the Mosley fight which grossed 78 million.

Now to think he will split 50m/50m with Pacquaio!Floyd already makes close to 50 million per fight (as long as the fight does about 80 million gross). This Pacq/May fight is like welfare for Pacquiao.Floyd would be giving Pacquiao a massive payday while only having the slightest bump up in wages.

Now Pacq makes 20m in guarantee and owes Arum 25% and GBP 14%.While making "possibly" 10 million in extra ppv revenue.

Pacq is lucky if he nets close to his "guaranteed" money.Mayweather nets nearly double his "guaranteed" money.

    Source for this?

Pac is now under new contract with TR and under the new contract, GBP no longer shares in the revenue of Pac's fights. Plus it's TR that pays GBP, not Pac. Also, it's TR that pays Pac, not the other way around.

When we see Pacquiao we should remember he is a Congressman and Presidential aspirant. He doesn't seem like any kind of a leader or alpha male. What country would elect Bob Arum's slave?

bandido.his guarantee's are always known and ppv additional pay starts after 1 mil and he could maybe do 10 extra there.

However you are correct sir.Arum pays pacq....and deceives about ppv totals. The 25% and 14% may not be there today but it was and probably still is there. But Pacq's biggest fights are behind him (except the May fight). He has been jipped during his prime earning time.I feel for him. He's still richer than me though.lol.

I respect pacq and hate arum.arum is robbing pacq,i lose repsect for pacq like this.Plus the phillipines have many poor people but many intelligent well educated people:writers and historians, obviously.

The recent fight has seen many of his own countrymen actually criticize him or the fight, saying they think he lost.

In the future these brave truth tellers will write the history on their hero, and like all really, really good biographies and documentaries, they will include the controversial.Getting jipped by Arum will surface at some point (Don King/Tyson) and his extremely proud countrymen will have great embarrassment. That just sucks.Ariza is running his mouth now,Roach is on tape saying way too much controversial stuff about manny's potential opponents:"shane is still too good" and "come to 142","Marquez will get ko in 1 round".Not to mention pacquiao's cheating on Jinkee has been catching up to him.

I guess I'm saying that he is a hero who's life is extremely imperfect if not flat out false.I wish him well in the long run but Pacq is going to have incredible difficulties in the future, especially with politricks. In the Phillipines and with his own people.

Mayweather on the other hand is scum who only cares about Money and can only possibly grow in legend because he is extremely disrespected today.Other than Mayweather going to jail for 34 years,Mayweather is going to overtake Manny Pacquiao (the false saint) both at home and abroad. They have not fought yet but are forever bound and Mayweather's stock will always continue to rise while Manny's veneer falls off and his unpolished skills become an anchor around his neck, holding him back in people's minds about ATG rankings.

This was unimaginable a few years ago.

...not agreeing to what you're saying, but which person of Team Money will be working on dealing on this aspect on Floyds business?

Do you think he (Haymon) gets the standard manager's fee of 30% cut??

I've Been Saying This for over 2 Years now!!!! Boxers have No! Need For Promoters Once they reach Oscar/Floyd or Manny Level...

GBP Don't Own Floyd Like T.R with Manny!! Floyd his is Own Boss!!

GBP only gets Paid from what the Event does!! The don't take nothing from Floyd Guarantee Money!
As for manny Arum Take up to 30% from his Guaranteed Money!!and money from the event
