If Floyd beats Berto, who overcame greater adversity to reach 49-0, him or Marciano?

Guerrero WAS an easy fight, Maidana wasn't considered a threat going into the fight, only Canelo and Cotto were considered to have any kind of chance going into the fight.

The Rock.:happy Fought fighters that were all bigger than him. Even when he fought Archie Moore who was a light heavyweight, Rocky still weighed less. :deal

This is wrong. Manny was p4p when floyd retired yes.. but not until 2012. It was until marquez 3. After the bout they left p4p open and had both floyd and manny rankrd at 2.

Who is 'they'? Are you talking about the ring magazine? They lost credibility a long time ago, and should not be consider an authority on this subject. Marquez 3 happened in december 2011 anyway, and although it was very close with a slight majority having Marquez winning it, Floyd hadn't done anything at that point which deserved to put him above Pacquiao.

Why would he have been above Hopkins at that point?

So after I exposed your ignorance, of you claiming that Floyd hand picked his whole career, you change topics and start talking about what style of fighting deserves more praise/rewards. The funny thing, Pretyy Boyf Floyd (Floyd in his 20's) was very offensive. He had a lot of KO's and some very good action fights, but yet none of that **** made him star. So there goes your theory

Floyd beat the better fighters by a landslide. Rocky faced more adversity because he only had a fraction of Floyd's talent.

Marciano overcame greater adversity. Floyd fought better fighters earlier in his career, but was also much more talented than Rocky, though Marciano's skills are very underrated. Mayweather is one of the most gifted fighters in history, the same cannot be saif of the Rock which is why I believe he overcame greater adversity to earn his spot in history.
