If Floyd beats Canelo is it time to start ranking him with RJJ and Sweat Pea?

Most lists I've seen have Whitaker somewhere between 10-20 P4P and Roy Jones Jr in the low 20's or high teens.

I've seen Mayweather from mid-20's (ardent fans) to barely cracking the top 50(irrational haters)

I see him around 30-40. If he were to defeat Canelo would that move him into the very elite quarter of all-time P4P fighters?

If Floyd were to beat Canelo convincingly, and with no controversy, he would have one hell of a resume. And for a hater like me to say that is tough. I would place him ahead of Jones based on his longevity and the convincing manner of his victories.

I don't know where Mayweather ranks, but I feel he's the most talented boxer I've ever seen. If he were to beat Canelo, it would have little to no effect on his standing in my opinion. At this point, he needs to beat a great fighter or accomplish something new to improve his standing.

edit:You know what, beating Canelo would give Mayweather a lineal title at 154, so from that standpoint, it would improve his all time rating.

    1) Sweet Pea
    2) Floyd ( needs a decent amount of work to catch Pea)
    3) Jones Jr (juicer demotion)

It sailed, sadly. Hopkins is closer to them than Floyd is if I'm being honest.
