If Floyd beats Marquez, PAc has no choice but to fight Floyd, or be ridiculed by me.

hmm says... fair enough. It still shows that there is always a choice. PBF is for sure his shortest and certain path to further solidifying his legacy and ATGness. (Roach: he can retire after if he beats Mayweather cause there will be nothing else to prove.) True about the weight issue with Cotto and Mosley but we have yet to see what weight Pac will potentially fight PBF to determine whether or not Cotto or Mosley are lack-luster. He can probably try to go through both Cotto and Mosley if PBF never returned. Who knows what exact weight Pac will fight either men? We shall see in due time.

The longer people wait the sooner it will happen, it's just a matter of keeping people talking about it then boom it's on. Same happened with Tyson/Lewis, eventually this will happen when the time is right and when they know it's the best time to secure the most amount of money they could possibly make.

What had Margarito done when before Floyd retired?

Arum's the one that said Cotto "was too green" when Floyd was still active. When asked about Floyd, Cotto always used the old lines, "it's up to my promoters." He didn't want none until Floyd retired.

Shane went on "vacation" when Floyd wanted to fight him.

Since Floyd came back, Shane lost to Cotto, who lost to a very limited fighter in Margarito, who destroyed Cotto. They all are in line BEHIND Pacquiao to fight Floyd, and all in line BEHIND Floyd to fight Pacquiao.

Cotto/Clottey/Mosley can sorts things out while Pac vs PBF happens then they can have their shot at the KING.

Really, it would be hilarious if Floyd beats Pacquiao and Marquez, then tells the rest where to go and fights......wait for this.....Paul Williams, the guy all of the Big WW's have avoided since Floyd's been gone.

Lets clear a few things up. Last time Floyd mentioned Mosleys name he was talking **** to get a higher stake to the already in negotiations DeLaHoya fight.

As far as Margarito he followed Mayweather around for a year.He was the longest reigning welterweight champion at the time.Sure he later lost to a determined Mosley but May has no offense and power at welter even closely resembling Shane.

For Cotto the last time I remember May saying his name was back at 140 when he said he wasn't ready yet and I think you guys are getting this confused.

Paul was just coming on the scene and seemed like he would give any welte a tough time.

You guys are saying people didn't wanna see Pac in against Hoya or Diaz, but who in their minds wanted to see Floyg against Ricky who showed against Collazo he couldn't handle welter or Oscar who hadn't fought in over a year and fought only once in the last 3 years.

Now I am starting to here that Pac has never fought a black slickster in his prime and I don't know if that's just a easy cop out because everyone knows at the lower weights where he fought their hasn't been a top rated black guy too be found.

Also when is the last time you have seen Floyd in against a really good Mexican or Asian in his prime. I'll tell you when it was against Castillo and he's avoided those type of fighters ever since.

Please mention the great prime Mexicans and Asians Mayweather avoided. Only a Tijuana nurse would claim Margarito who's biggest win was Manuel Gomez back then is a legitimate "great" current Mexican prime. Maybe that's the best that Mexico can provide today but in boxing standards this is a tomato can who's tall but fights short with six losses and zero avenged/attempts to avenge. This is also a tomato can who needs to load up his gloves to compete with guys way past their primes and half his size. Whoever mentions Margarito as a legitimate threat and one Mayweather should fight after his recent suspension and disgraceful INSULTING to boxing cheating tactics needs to be stoned on spot.

NALLEGE SAID 'but we need to see Pac in a fight he isn't supposed to win, or a fight perceived where he can't win, and he does the unthinkable/impossible'

Shouldn't you replace the above name with Mayweather? I don't know what you mean...Pac has fought 4 locked Hall of Famers in a total of EIGHT. I REPEAT EIGHT BATTLES. He's always taken huge risks. Please remember that most people thought the De La Hoya fight was a joke and didn't think Pac could win. Myself included.

This is what it should read:
'but we need to see MAYWEATHER in a fight he isn't supposed to win, or a fight perceived where he can't win, and he does the unthinkable/impossible'

PAc has taken more risks than ANY other boxer out there at the moment. I really don't know what you are talking about.

This is the typical clown response. You talk about losses and tomato cans.
Most mexicans and Asians and people of this descent aren't as concerned with a loss as your modern day "cool breeze brotha". It's about fighting the best there is to offer and if you lose go out on your sword. Not avoiding bigger and better challenges for the sake of a loss.
What I'm saying is you're digging to deep as to why Pac shouldn't be the number one.And if you do this you can very easily see a pattern from Mayweather.

After Floyd left 135 he has fought a smorgasboard of B class fighters or aninactive older great. And one smaller man who already proved he couldn't compete at that weight.

lol, i find it amusing that as much time as he has spent analysing fights and researching boxrec his perspective remains so skewed. a cynic would attribute that to his racial preference but i would not discount intelectual inadequacy.

All of that means nothing to me and is a load of garbage.

Please answer my question, name the GREAT Mexican and Asian fighters Mayweather should have fought but didn't. It's funny you mention Mexicans and Asians only like others don't exist, ignorance and stupidity at it's best. So please inspire me, this should be hilarious if you mention Antonio "Hands of Plaster, This generation's Gatti" Margarito.

On a realer note (because we've drifted into Bizarro world), Does anyone else find the thread title a little funny? "Or be ridiculed by me."

I'm sure Floyd is worried about that.
