If Floyd beats Mosley, would it be better than any win on Pacquiao's resume?

Which win on Pacquiaos record would you rate more than a win over Mosley??

Reread my post. I said it might just be. Anyways, Cotto beat Mosley so you could say he is the better win.

No I don't think it would be. Mosley (being in the same weight class) is an opponent that people expect Floyd to fight and beat. Whereas Pac, has gone up to divisions we didn't expect him to, and beaten guys who not long ago we thought would crush him.

Pac's win over Cotto, will be more impressive than Floyd's win over Shane.

pac's win over barrera and cotto are way better coz pac was really coming up in weight. floyd over mosley is kind of expected by many anyway but it could eclipse floyd's win over corrales if floyd indeed knock mosley off like what ellerbe suggested.

    You are just plain ******ed.

A 145 lb., Margarito-cinder-beaten, Joshua-Clottey-head-rammed, psychologically unstable Cotto is nowhere close to a victory over Shane.

    Of course not.

Barrera was a better win, Cotto was, Morales II, JMM II and possibly Hatton.

i was about to say easely, but forgot the cotto fight.

eventhough cotto beat mosley, you have to consider their form right now and cotto hasnt looked good since brickfists.

mosley, well mosley looked good against, the artist formely known as brickfist, but wasnt impressivr against mayorga.

shane right now, might be better then cotto ever was, but its close.

    i´ll say yes, but only by a **** hair:yep

Hatton was undefeated at the weight and had beaten every contender. Pacquiao destroyed him in 2 rounds.

Whilst Mosley would be a good win, aside from the Margarito fight, he hasn't looked good in recent years. Now, if you assume that Margarito cheated in his biggest fights, it makes sense as to why he was such an easy opponent for Mosley.

Mosley is a good opponent but don't let one fight against an overrated, perfect style match up cloud your judgement.

Barrera alone is leaps and bounds above a Mosley who just barely got by Mayorga and has proven difficulties with slick boxers.

Just because you "thought" the guys Pacquiao faced would crush him, it doesn't make his resume any more impressive. Floyd has also moved up several weight classes and beaten champions. Your comment is a good example of how guys like Floyd and Roy Jones(in his prime) is/was a victim of his own ability.

    Hey cockface,

First off, the 145 catchweight made no difference what so ever to outcome of the fight. Even a imbecile like you can recognize this, and even the hardest of the hardcore Pac haters will agree that whatever the weight, Pac would still have ran Cotto through the ground.

Second, you can check through the ESB archive, and gather the pre-fight thoughts on who the winner would be between Pac and Cotto. You'll find that was more or less split down the middle. In no way was it a one sided prediction, in the way Floyd and Shane is being treated to now.

Third and final, despite Shane walking in the ring after being inactive for 16 months (or whatever), and despite him being 39 years of age....you can still expect Floyd to be as cautious as ever, and run his way to a 12 round decision. And this my spastic friend, will mean it will never be as impressive as the way Pac floored, and brutally hunted down a monster of a Welterweight.
