If Floyd beats Mosley, would it be better than any win on Pacquiao's resume?

So a single win over Margo, the same Margarito who you so like to claim isnt worthy of sharing the ring with PBF is somehow a better winning streak than MAB beating Hamed(already much better than Margo), Morales, Tapia, Kelley, Peden?

Mosley went life and death with Mayorga and destroyed bickfist without his bricks. Lets be real, the guy is pushing 39 by May...and you Floyd fans were the same people claiming how Pac has never beaten a fighter past 29.

MAB/Morales/JMM/Hatton/Cotto - I believe all were top 10 when Pac fought them. MAB & JMM being the highest, both were rank 3 I believe when he beat them. JMM may have been 4th below Calzaghe, not sure.

No. FMJs style wont allow him to. I dont see FMJ or Shane shutting the other one out.

I can only laugh at the ridiculousness. And JMM II wasn't even a win.

38 year old mosley about 7 years away from his prime. just watch the mayorga fight and answer the question without being biased.

i think mosley is a force to be reckoned with at WW but saying he is at his best ever, is better than berrera / jjm was when pac fought him is just ridiculous. i respect floyd for taking this fight as it is the best possible fight out there for him but lets not go over the top

People keep bringing up the Mayorga fight as evidence that Mosely is way past it, and I admit that I've been guilty of it as well, but really, of Shane's last 4 fights that was the worst performance and it was also at 154 which isn't his best weight. He had a very close fight with a peaking Cotto and just before that destroyed Collazo, who is a top 10 welterweight and whose only other losses were close and controversial losses against Hatton and Berto.

I don't think it would be a better win than MAB or JMMII, but I think Floyd beating Mosely is better than most of the rest on Pac's resume, particularly depending on how he beats him. I'd rate beating Cotto as just a half tick below a convinging beating of Mosely because Mosely is on the uptick whereas Cotto has had a rough time of it since the Margo loss, and hasn't had a proper trainer for a while.

38 year old Mosely who hasn't fought since Margarito which was a long time ago now.

Mayweather as usual is a genius. He got Mosely at the perfect point in Mosleys career.

Wouldn't the perfect point be after a loss, not after a dominant win over a champion, yea?

I say yes but how can people say pacs win over cotto is better? mosley has not only fought way better opponents than cotto but beatn better opponents than cotto did and cotto inched out a win over mosley. I have a question for esb posters how many of u feel cotto would beat shane now? better win for floyd indeed but pac has still beatn bigger names and stop with this moving up in weight garbage was floyd not at lower weights at same age as pac?just my opinion

come one dude. prime mosley beats cotto and mayorga. margarito win has a question mark lingering over it because of margs mindstate going into that fight. it would be a good win for floyd but people need to stop overating mosley at this point of hi career.

Of course he's not the Mosely of 8 or 9 years ago, but likewise people need to stop acting like he's got nothing left just to discredit a potential Floyd win. Margarito did what he always does against Mosely, and walk forward absorbing punches in the hope of landing something. Mosely fought a smart fight, never let Margo get set, and beat him down. He still looked fast, punches murderously hard, and most importantly he had a GREAT fight plan.

Against Cotto and Mayorga, Mosely lacked a strong corner to help him adjust mid-fight. Personally I think the Mosely from the Margarito fight beats the Cotto from the Mosely fight, but that's just a matter of opinion, so to each their own.

Still, Mosely now is better than Morales II, who was certainly well past his best, Hatton, who was never particularly good in the first place, and yes, even a touch better that Cotto who has looked mentally and physically fragile post Margarito.

i disagree. mosley is past prime and floyd is fighting at his natural weight. pac moving up to beat cotto is more impressive.
