of course he does.... and he would get credit. He would only get a W in the biggest fight this decade.

Obviously he does :D. If this fight doesn't happen somehow somewhere, someone needs to die.

It depends. If the contract says they have to weigh 145 and he comes in at 147 then that is different.

I am not one of those to ride the hater train against Mayweather. He is an excellent fighter. If he fights Manny it does need to conform to the contract. What he did in his last fight showing up overweight was wrong.

if everything is legit then he rightly deserves to get credit for beating PacMan.

Margarito without plaster is questionable. We don't know how big of a puncher he really is. After watching pacman beat cotto the way he did, i think he can do the same to margarito. Margarito has better chin but he is slow so i could see pacman beating him by UD.

Clottey has a good defense so this fight would be tough for the pacman but i still like manny in this fight.

PW is a middleweight and his like 6-7 inches taller than the pacman.

He will get credit - But there is undoubtedly going to be a higher expectation of the win from Mayweather than there is for Manny.

IE - He needs to stop Manny.

If Manny wins any kind of way, it will outweigh Floyd historically because Floyd is the naturally bigger man and expectations are that he will and should win.

Floyd is in a bit of a no win because outside his fans - People will support Pac for the win. Pac is a better person, he's not brash or arrogant, he won't talk crap like Floyd, he won't get all hip hop threats about Floyd.

Floyd is not in an enviable position.

margarito has way to much endurance and inside fighting ability for manny to beat him

clottey is just too large... he may weight 175 against manny fight night.... manny wouldnt get through clotteys d

    pw .... well you know

Anybody who gets in the ring takes a risk....It shouldnt be Floyd's fault that after 55 fights Manny cant deal with fighting a BOXER in the sport of BOXING. Knocking out brawlers is different from having to box a boxer. One is a craft but the other might get YO ASSED WHUPPED!!!!

He was being sarcastic i believe. I agree with ya though, Mayweather beats everybody @ 147 when he brings his A game.

Floyd gets no credit from me until he moves up to light-heavyweight and beats Chad Dawson. However, if Floyd wants to be considered a true ATG, he'll have to move up to heavyweight and beat both Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko. Until then, no credit for Floyd at all, that cherry-picking son of a *****!
