If Floyd Beats Pac He Deserves Full Credit...

I agree with anyone stepping into the ring takes risks....but there are some fighters who are incredibly talented, have incredible gifts of speed, reflexes and power. Floyd is super talented and he uses his talents in a way to AVOID RISK! As he should in this business.....but Floyd is also obligated to give the fans exciting fights yet he feels he doesn't.

In 55 fights PAC has faced all sorts of boxers, brawlers, punchers...combination of all 3 ect. It's not the fact that PAC can't deal with a "BOXER"...he's proven that already....But he can't make a boxer in the fight game, FIGHT! IF he doesn't want to take risks. Floyd can go about his career avoiding any real threats.....shimming away or out of anything that resembles risk.....but he'll have to suffer the critisim from fans of the fight game. You can box and take risks to win in meaninful fashion.

Yup Floyd will get credit. However if we really go by COMMON SENSE, the guys Floyd should really be fighting to get an unadultered credit is Margo, Shane, Cott, PWill. Floyd you have been a ww since 2005 and had only fought 4 legitimate welters 3 of them never beating a great/good fighter). The contenders had come and gone but the fact remains you have not fought this perceived threats.

Then here comes a guy who barely 2 years ago was a SFW, shown how shakey your best wins were for the last 5 years, exceeding expectations, then beat him and get ultra credit despite the fact that you are more settled at the weight, have physical advantages and less ring-wear? There are credit, and there are level of credits.

You get a fair amount of credit if you face Pac.
You get massive credit when you face Mosley.
You get god-like credit if you beat Pwill.

 

Any fight will be dangerous for a boxer if he comes in with the wrong game plan. Fighters lose all the time for having the wrong or simply no game plan.
